Very impressive for the cost
After buying many of the toy grade RC cars and having them brake in the first few hours of play, I decided to get this one for my son for Christmas. The packaging is very cheap, but I can't say that for the vehicle itself. It is assembled very well and has impressed me quite a bit.Pros:1. looks great2. can replace parts if they break2. 4x4 and can go anywhere3. metal gears in Differentials4. comes with battery and charger5. durable and water resistant6.12mm hexes so aftermarket wheels will fitCons:1. Plastics are a bit soft, so easy to strip screws2. Differentials have lubrication, but not much. fill them up with your choice of Diff oil/grease3. battery, while powerful, only lasts around 7-10 minutes...... if you are lucky4. I haven't checked yet, but the shocks feel like they could use some oil.I'd recommend this car to anyone who is even remotely interested in the RC hobby. There are a couple things to do right away like upgrade the battery to a higher capacity 2 cell shorty pack and fill the diffs and shocks with grease/oil, but it is a great entry way into a very fun hobby.

Hands down best "cheap" gift I've ever given
Gave this as a gift twice (to adults) and they immediately obsessed with it immediately (one of them played with it so much he wore off its tires hahaha)Real 4x4 with great traction, sturdy, this little speed demon and can take a punch!Remote control is fairly easy to use and the ultra customizable and virtually all the parts are replaceable.Overall a great purchase, definitely worth the price!

Awesome Car
The Car is super cheap and performs absolutely amazing. I put it through torture and ended up braking a few things but because its hobby grade I can replace it! I drove it in the snow and salty roads all winter at least every other day. I ended up rusting away the 1 front driveshaft away, the rear driveshaft, and brushes for the motors. I replaced them all for relatively cheap. The servo also wore down a little. You can't buy an rc car and not expect to do some maintenance. I love it and it is one of the best for the money on the market in my opinion. The only thing is that its for sure not a rock crawler, it goes way to fast and is geared terribly for a rock crawler.

Best rc truck for under $200
I'll start saying don't buy it if you don't like to work on your rc cars.- The rear drive shaft broke within 5 uses, the problem is that the "upgraded" aluminium shafts I Bought lasted less than the original.I decided to bought the aluminium shafts again but modify them, that's the only solution I found.- if you want to use this rc buggy on the sand you should put some grease into the steering system (not the servo) otherwise it will get stucked.Apart from this mentioned before I think it is the best rc truck under $200.The battery lasts about 10 minutes.I personally really enjoy using it.

Most durable rc on the market at the cheapest price
Working on the desert racer is heady and fun. I got it for my 5 year old after a lot of reasearch and it holds up! Not only is it tough but it’s easily customizable! I’ve added a new steering servo and even added a 4000 mah battery on the back and it takes all the jumps and abuse my 5 yo can throw at it! We’ve had it for a year and it’s out every weekend jumping our ramp and going on trail hikes! I haven’t had to replace a single suspension part on it even with the added weight! My gps hiking tracker says it’s done close to 60 miles and the only real replacement needed has been tires and the rear diff! I have about 19 off-roader rc’s including some $500 ones and it’s no lie that this is the favorite for me and my son!
