Biked 3200km with this Bike in 28 days while Touring
I bicycles 3200km with this bike. Big Hint: get the pedals installed at a bike shop. I stripped both pedals which requires an expensive problem to replace the crank arms, don't know how I did it, I'm pretty good mechanically, but it happened. Awesome lightweight bike, sturdy, loaded it up with 60 pounds of racks and gear and it didn't seem to mind at all. Factory tires lasted about 2000km, but what do you expect. Great shifters, great bike for it's price.

Awesome bike
Very easy to assemble, light weight & a overall great ride. I'm a bigger guy so needed to replace the little factory seat with a bigger cushion seat, but overall great bike.

Great bike for the price.
Let me begin by saying I am a 62 year old man that just started riding bikes regularly again 2 years ago for cardio after a heart attack, so I am not a bike expert by no means, we had some old Next bikes that we rode rarely before that and they where ok for casual riding but after a couple of years of riding 3 days a week and building up my endurance i was ready for a upgrade so i researched the available bikes in my price range and decided on the Schwinn Volare 1200. So far after 3 weeks of riding 60 plus miles I'm very pleased with the bike over all. The kickstand mount did break the first week when i rolled the bike backwards with it down, and the seat as stated by a lot of the other reviewers is not comfortable at all i replaced it with the Pioneeryao Professional Bicycle Bike Seat Gel Bike Saddle ($16) as suggested by another reviewer and for me it was a good improvement. The bike looked great when it arrived, packaged well and all parts protected. good looking frame with pretty welds, Some reviews mention that installation was a pain - I did not find this to be the case at all, but I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I did need to adjust the derailleurs which I had never done before but YouTube got it done . I do not like stickers so i removed all of them right away. I would differently recommend it !

Fantastic Starter/Commuter/Bargain bicycle
I needed a bike to commute to work because my previous one was stolen. I haven't ridden in quite some time so I looked for a starter bike to get back into it. This is a great bike for a commuter or new cyclist. Some things about it: Pros: - Assembly isn't bad at all. Crank, chain, and brakes are already on the frame. Need to tighten some screws up as well as connect some pieces and your good. Handlebar is already set up with tape and brakes so there is no concern for setting that up. - 14 speeds have a good high and low for the everyday rider - Tires are 700x28 (not 23) so they are a little more forgiving. - Price point is great - Shifter/brake from Shimano very easy to use and friendly for new rider. - Quick release tires Cons: - Brakes needed fine tuning to work appropriately. - Seat is okay but red marks have rubbed off on my pants. The only other issue for myself is that 53cm is a bit much. I can't stand above the bar with the bike straight up. I'm 5'7" and have short legs so there are two reasons for ya. For you heavier riders out there: I'm 275 pounds and I'm able to ride this thing with no issues. This can help you get up and riding until you are ready for your next one! I would recommend this bike to everyone and will update this comment if anything arises. Definitely 5 stars for the price.
