Robinair RR13204-Premium High Vacuum Pump Oil 1 Gal, case of 4

The item is for 4 one gallon jugs and I've purchased it twice and received all four gallon jugs each time. I'm using it for a freeze drier with a high vacuum pump so it has to be good quality oil in order to process it in a reasonable time. It does do that and the oil lasts reasonably well for that. I really like that it's cost is so much less than buying one gallon or one quart at a time. It arrives very quickly and comes via FedEx for me. I have to replace about a quart of oil per week with how much I'm using it. The freeze drying gets small food particles and moisture vapor absorbed from the food into the vacuum pump oil. It gets about 5 freeze dry runs per oil change or about a full 7 days for me. I just drain about 2 tablespoons of oil after each run to remove any water drops that have formed and refill to the oil indicator fill level again and its ready for the next run. I'm very happy with its quality and cost as well as the quick shipping time.

No matter what vacuum pump you're using, if you want to draw a good vacuum you've got to use good oil. This robinair oil I find to be superior to many other brands. It allows me to pull a vacuum down to near 30 in of Mercury. Can't get any better than that.

I used this oil in my Harvest right freeze dryer. It was shipped fast & price was amazing. It is one of the few oils that Harvest right recommends.

I anticipate having to regularly change the oil out in my vacuum pump, due to the service it is in. I usually makes sense to take advantage of larger quantities to keep the unit cost down, and this was an exceedingly good and highly rated oil at the fairest price I could find. I'm happy with this purchase and would do it again, if I needed to.

A lot of different brands and price ranges for Vac pump oil out there. Though I have only tried a few I will say that this seems to be a perfect balance of price to quality. I use this in a Chamber style vacuum sealer and a harvest right freeze dryer pump. This oil runs much cleaner than black gold from my experience and I can get extra uses out of it after filtering. The black gold seems to get pretty filthy much quicker even with filtering between freeze drying sessions. So basically this oil is cheaper and runs cleaner.... whats not to like?

This is the best priced Name Brand Vacuum Pump oil we could find. Works well in chamber vacuum sealers.

I used this oil on my dairy farm in the vacuum pump for the milking machines. Worked good so far. Price was fair.

I received this package and it was leaking everywhere. This was not fun to clean up.
