Shoei Neotec II CNS-3 Pinlock Ready Face Shield

Excellent visor; perfect fit, adds just the right amount of tint and UV blocking to make hot sunny days tolerable, and, not too dark for the use of the supplemental inner visor. Worth every penny.

I'm over doing night rides because of the condensation, poor visibility, surprise water on the road, etc and I replaced the clear visor that came with my Neotec with this. Be patient installing it. It latches in in a certain little way with the grooves and such but it does go in well. Great upgrade part. Five stars

Easy to install. Great tint. Not to dark when the sun starts to go down. Perfect for bright sunny days.

The shield is OEM Shoei what more can I say. Fit and finish is great. The tint works great especially complimenting the drop down visor in the Neotec 2 on very bright days. The light tint still allows plenty of visibility on cloudy days. I rarely ride at night but the tint would still be acceptable to use.

This face shield is distortion free in my estimation. The surface is super smooth without flaws that could reduce its clarity (clarity, not clear/smoked...). I have found that in low sun angles, I am not staring at a vivid reflection of my own face going down the road. That of course reduces one's ability to see potential hazards ahead and to the side of the road. In other words, there is less glare than some other face shields I have owned over the 5 decades. That is not to say that there is zero glare however. I can use my polarized sunglasses without having to look through a rainbow of colors like gasoline on a pond where the face shield should be, as is the case with some other face shield brands. Yes, this is a truly good face shield. I have two NeoTec 2's and three spare face shields in various configurations as the need arises. Clear, mid smoked, and one with pinlock at the ready. I love this face shield, but. It is seriously overpriced. It seems "soft" and it scratches/pits too easy in my opinion (based on boo boos and accidents that haven't damaged other shields in the past). I wonder though if that perceived softness is part of the design. Maybe to reduce cracking and having sharp shards of plastic lacerating your corneas. Minus one star for the price. I love you Shoei.

es ist zwar ein günstigeres Angebot als das Original, ABER leider sind die Nieten für die Pinlock-Innenscheibe zu eng. Das heißt das man entweder ohne Innenvisier fährt, etwas Nacharbeit leistet oder frustriert das Visier zurück schickt. Mit ein wenig Nacharbeit am Innenvisier habe ich es am Ende passend bekommen, aber in meinen Augen sollte es doch seitens Anbieter kein großes Problem darstellen die Nieten ein wenig weiter auseinander zu platzieren....
