Air Spencer GIGA G51 Clip JDM Squash Air Freshener

I purchased this product after owning the Air Spencer CS-X3 Squash, with continuous refilling, for several months. I really liked the CS-X3 during the warmer months because I can put it anywhere in my Volvo XC60 and the entire cabin will be filled with it's exquisite fragrance. I usually kept it out of the way under my driver seat. However, during the colder months, even with the slide opened fully, I smell barely anything. My solution was to use the sticky pads and mount it to my rather large passenger side dash. I must say the sticky pads worked better than I expected. They were strong enough to keep the CS-X3 on the (clean) dash, but light enough that I can easily remove it and place it somewhere else (clean). However, this did little to increase the absence of fragrance that my nose was desperately missing. So, I decided to try out this little number to see how it performed.First off, I think it looks awesome. It has the same design quality as the CS-X3 and I don't mind mounting it to one of my dash air vents, where looks-wise, it fits in very well. I also like the fact that it has a two-way prong system where you can mount it to horizontal or vertical vents and it stays, due to the rubber pads. Like the CS-X3, it has a kind of slide system to control how much fragrance you get dispersed throughout the cabin. That being said, also like the CS-X3, it does not work well at all in cold (or lukewarm) temperatures, even with the slide fully opened, *if the vent is not blowing air*. Once you get some airflow going however, back to nostril gratifying, fruity scented nirvana. I have not adequately tested the G51 to see how long the fragrance lasts because air is rarely blowing through my front vents while using my Volvo's auto-climate mode. Honestly, I have no idea how it works because it still warms up the cabin fairly quickly.Overall, buy this or the CS-X3. If you have a large enough dash, one of those middle change holders, or you want to hide it away, I suggest getting the CS-X3. If you don't mind having your vents constantly blowing air (just a little is necessary) and you want something that works all the time, get the GIGA G51 Clip. Also, I highly recommend the Squash scent. It has a Fruity Pebbles kind of fragrance to it and I always get compliments from everyone who rides in my Volvo.

Only been using it for a couple weeks, smells very good and so far has lasted more then any other car freshener i have tried. Still putting out as much fragance as it did on day one, unlike other products which are extremely powerful first 2 days and by day 4-5 they get extremely weak. So far I am loving this product, would defenetly recommend it to anybody. Already bought refills, tho it doesn't seem i'll be needing them anytime soon, which is a good thing.

Does not work

If you like car air fresheners from Asia, there are a few truths:1) Always get the squash smell if available2) No one knows what My Shaldan means, but it also smells delicious3) Dashboars Air Spencers (in squash, of course) were the Maseratis of car air fresheners on your lowered Civic and/or Accord with piaa headlight bulbs.If you're now a grown up like me, you don't really want the giant dashboard Air Spencer, so the Giga is a nice and subtle alternative. It lasts a few weeks and fits very securely on your vent. I didn't find the smell to be overpowering at all and many of my car passengers comment on the generally agreeable and clean smell.I still think that My Shaldan is the king of good smelling air fresheners, but the Giga is like a grown up version of the dashboard Air Spencer that you won't feel embarrassed about. It isn't overpowering, nor visually silly, and you won't be left with empty metal cans of old air freshener in your car.Don't expect it to last longer than 3-4 weeks tops, but enjoy it for the time it has some juice!

I was doubtful at first. But I must say the smell is awesome. I get much questions on the smell. It has a true new car scent. I have waited for a month to write this. I also must note that I do have two in my car.

Squash smells sooooo good. Great purchase. I got a couple months of good smell before cartridges needed changing

low profile.. easy to install.. smells good! Wish it was a bit cheaper tho..

Smells good but doesn't last long.
