This fixture appears to be well-constructed (looks like coated aluminum) and will probably last indefinitely under the eaves of my house. This is a grounded fixture, so ensure that you have a ground wire to connect (although it does technically work without), and be aware that the lamp sockets are recessed about an inch, so some bulbs with larger shoulders (flared) won't fit (though most standard Edison bulbs should). The pictured install required extensions to fit these flared LED bulbs (no fault of the fixture). Install was very simple, the fixture is supplied with moisture gaskets, and she booted up with no issues on the first switch. I'm a happy camper, and I imagine you will be too. Good value for the money: recommended.

This outdoor light fixture was very easy to install. All 3 wires and connectors was able to tuck behind flush. Two screws holds the outdoor light fixture firm against the wall. I put a bead of sealant to keep the moisture out. Great buy.

Weather got into the sockets of my old non-motion detector white dual-bulb outdoor floodlight fixtures turned on with a manual switch in my house so they needed to be replaced. These are strong and well made from cast aluminum (no rust!) and white powder coating. Easy to install and used with a pair of 2500 lumen LED floodlight bulbs (not included) mounted to the side of my house. I also used the weather-proof gaskets mounted to the base of my LED floodlight bulbs to keep the weather out of these newly mounted fixtures. Very inexpensive as the last manufacturer of such non-motion-detector and non-integrate-LED twin socket outdoor fixtures. I have a total of three such twin fixtures mounted on my house so I replaced all three fixtures. I actually also bought a spare set of three fixtures that I put in storage for potential replacement use two decades in the future when the white powder coating may start to look less white after being exposed to the weather for 20 years :-) If you have a need for these fixtures, buy them now before they are totally gone forever and you are stuck with outdoor fixture that have integrated LED lights. For the latter, you'll end up having to replace the whole fixture when the LEDs eventually fail (got for the light fixture company and more expense for you) versus just replacing the LED floodlight bulbs when the bulbs eventually fail.

Our city is working on the creek area to create more walking paths (LOVE our city -- it's a paradise to us) - and as a result they upset several dens of skunk families. Those families went looking for new homes to re-den their little ones (cute with mama, papa and 4-5 little ones following, though). Our backyard was a temporary 'pass through' for a while till they found the right places. It's scary when you let the dog out at 2 in the morning and both he and you 'hear something'. Off he races (he's like a greyhound he's so fast) and I just yelled, "VIKING, NO!!!!" Luckily he heard the fright in my voice & obeyed me - returning immediately before being decorated by the small skunk that went up the wood fence (they climb quite well!). Now we let our the dog out in the side yard after the light goes on and I have time to peek out to make sure the coast is clear. This light is REALLY bright, easy to adjust, and we LOVE it. Great value, too. No skunk surprises now! We all have to share our space with others (including critters) but I'd rather not have THAT shared with us....

It’s just a simple floodlight you turn on and off with a switch. Exactly what I wanted. Easy installation and works great!

was sent a previously returned item. original box was taped up. wire nuts had been used on leads. supposed to be new in box!

Like a previous reviewer, I tired of the unreliability of motion detector outdoor security lights, no matter which brand I tried. So I purchased two of these basic security light fixtures (and put them both on a WiFi light switch so I could remote control them). This light fixture is very good quality and is easy to install. If you are looking for a conventional outdoor security light fixture this is an excellent choice. It was far better quality than what was on offer at my local hardware stores.

Now have two, one on both sides of my home. I have a corner residence.
