Being Spaniard, I have to have white beans at least once per week. This are the best option that I have found. Organic, smooth, soft and create a great flavor for my Mediterranean dishes. I leave the in water overnight so next day they are ready to cook. Great value for the money. I get them every month here on Amazon. For the Spaniard recipes type “judías blancas con vino” and use the translator.

Lately, I've gone crazy making home-made soup. Hubby loves bean soup, and so do I. We usually get Campbells bean with bacon soup, but the ones in our store have MSG(!) in them, plus other iffy things like yeast extract, and sodium nitrate and 2 other sodium somethings. Lately it's been hard to find healthy soup brands in our grocery store. So I set out to copy the store brand, and these Navy beans made perfect beans in my Instant Pot pressure cooker. I added a little bit of tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, chopped up cooked bacon and the grease, and a little ham bullion to the cooked beans in their cooking liquid. They turned out perfectly, and we both loved the results. Dried beans are a perfect pantry item.

I love to make Navy bean soup. Sometimes the dry beans I buy at the store are too large, so I was pleased to see these are smaller dry beans. Can’t wait to make soup with them soon.

It is a about a dollar more online and the quality is good.
