LP just means the heat sinks are low correct ? I have the Evo 212 cpu cooler. would this get in the way ?

Yes. LP means "Low Profile". You will not have any problem with a large Air Cooler. I use this Ram on 3 computers , all of which have large Tower air coolers. 2 are Phanteks PH-TC14PE's one is a Corsair A-70 Air Cooler. They all give me about 1/2" of clearance below the coolers. You will like the Evo 212, one of the best.

Does it work in an alienware x51 r2 specification :ddr3 pc3-12800 non-ecc (1600 mhz)

Hi, Seems that for using 16gb in that system you'll be limited to using our DDR3L (low voltage 1.35v) kits, I wouldn't recommend using this one unless your manual does show compatibility for 16gb of DDR3 and not DDR3L solely. If you have any other questions please contact us: support.corsair.com

Would this run in a system that currently has: 16gb 1333 mhz ddr3 pc-10600 sdram (intel(r) core(tm) i5-2400 cpu 3.10ghz)???

Yes it would work just fine, these are actually 1333 mhz but can be overclocked to 1600 mhz. buy them
