I bought this for our new portable GEN 2250 watt generator. It fits really nicely and it’s snug. If anything, maybe 1/2 inch or so too short. It covers it completely from top to bottom and you can still pull the drawstring tightly but it doesn’t quite draw down completely underneath. At least the generator that I have, which is slightly taller then some other units. Could it blow off if it was in the bed of your truck at 70-mph? I don’t know because I haven’t tried it but I’d strap it down so the generator didn’t slide around in the bed of the truck anyway. Primarily it was purchased as a dust cover and will sit in the garage but its plenty durable. I definitely like the side pocket so I can keep the usual “easy to lose” owners manual and a few tools that go with the generator. Also like the fact that you can open up the handle to carry the unit with the cover on, a very handy addition. I can’t say how long it will last because I haven’t had it that long, but I suspect as long as most any of the others and the price is right. Well worth it. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
