China Glaze Nail Polish, Limbo Bimbo 179

If you have been looking online at the color flip flip fantasy and you see the neon pinkish red color that is not what this is... Apparently there has been a color change. I wore flip flop fantasy for 3 years and then I couldn't find it anywhere so I ordered online... when I got it it wasn't what I was expecting because obviously I expected the normal neon pinkish red color but this is a neon creamy peachy pink. it does say online that there has been a color change and shows the color so Google China glaze flip flip fantasy and look at the peachy color and that's what you will be getting. Im happy with it, I love the color. It was packaged good, no damage, the bottle was new and full, and the shipping was super fast and the price was well worth it. the formula is a little more thin than some of the other China glaze colors. It was streaky on the first coat, I recommend doing 3 coats for a smooth finish and to get the bottle color. It dries quickly. China glaze nail polish usually chips within 3-4 days in heavy usage of hands especially without a top coat, BUT I don't have a nail polish that doesn't chip within 4 days. It is easy and quick to remove. I think a white base coat will set this color off perfectly but you don't HAVE to have the white base coat as with most neons. Im happy with my purchase and im sure I'll be wearing it all summer along with my other neons of course. The China glaze color that is closest to the original pinkish flip flop fantasy would be the other pink that was in the CG poolside collection I think it's called pool-party? you can easily look it up. anyway, I hope this review helps someone.. everyone needs the perfect neons for summer!

This is a beautiful color! Most of the china glaze neon colors are amazing, but this is one of my favorites. In some of the pictures of the bottle, it looks pretty pink, but it is not. It's really a coral color leaning towards orange and not pink. I've attached a picture for reference (in my nail design it's the triangle shaped part of course). As for the formula, it is a little bit thick and therefor can be difficult to apply so you need to work quickly. It dries to a matte finish, but I always use the Seche Vite topcoat to give a glossy finish. Depending on how fast you apply it, you will need 1-2 coats for even coverage. Overall, this is one of my go-to colors!

UPDATE: Changed to 5 stars and this is why. I was expecting more of a coral/pinkish color based on what some of the reviewer said on here and also the picture on Amazon. So I was very disappointed and was thinking of returning this because some reviewers acted as though the orange was a problem because of what this color looked like when they got their nails done at a nail salon. So first, I gave this only 2 or 3 stars. The truth of the product I received. This is definitely a bright orange color and is flat (not shiny). It even looks really funny when you first put it on because it looks like it's glow in the dark. So before returning it, I went to Sally's. The girl there had it on. It was orangish like mine but hers was shiny. She says you always have to use a top coat. This also prevents chipping. Goes for ALL nail polish. So, then I checked the colors myself and sure enough the bottle at Sally's resembled the same color I got from Amazon. Looks a little coralish outside but really more orange. And this definitely looks orangish on. So I have a coral colored pocket book and I matched up another China Glaze color that I liked more to go with the coral color I was looking for. It's called "POOL PARTY". I also got a topcoat called "Out the Door" and sure enough, the both China Glaze colors (both are matte) get shiny after the topcoat goes on. I like both colors but for now will use the "Pool Party" to match my pocket book. I have pretty good pictures to show the difference, hopefully they will appear on the page soon...I just posted them up.

Very thick and goopy, hard to paint on and chips easily. Didn’t even make it through 2 days before it started to chip. The color was also a disappointment, not a true coral more orange. I won’t be buying this brand again

The photo doesn't really do justice to how bright Pink Voltage is. It's highlighter pink. I love it for summer but it doesn't really work any other time of the year. I have very pale skin and this makes me look slightly more tan and really flatters my cool skin tone. My comments will refer to using this on the toes because I don't wear nail polish on my hands very often. I'm removing a star for the formula. Maybe because it's fluorescent, it has a chalky consistency so it dries kind of matte and easily becomes brittle. I have to use two coats of CND Vinylux top coat for shine. Because it's chalky you need 3 coats of color for full coverage. And because it dries brittle you will need to reapply top coat every few days to make it last as long as most toenail polish. It's still worth buying tho, for the pretty color.

I recently got this on amazon they packed it very nicely in bubble wrap to ensure that it didn't break came exactly on time also. The product itself is such a bright an and bubbly pink it's a bright neon pink, as most bright neon colors it looks great on your toes and the nail polish gives you the look of being a little tan just an added bonus! Most china glaze polishes are super easy to apply an so is this one, if you apply two coats this polish is good to go. I was so happy to receive this polish it is going to be a great polish for the summer, all it reminds me of is summer I love it!

I bought it for my daughter's graduation. It had mixed reviews. I think that it's a fair deal on a cheap find. I had to apply three coats to get that nice thick, rich salon look and a quick dry clear coat. It definitely is true to the color advertised, mint green. The price is a steal. I give it 3.5 out of 4 stars

Habe diesen Lack bestellt da ich ihn mal auf einem Blog gesehen habe. Ich bin hellauf begeistert von diesem Lack! Anders als bei meinen Vorrezensenten hbe ich keinen weissen Unterlack verwendet, sondern einen normalen Basecoat und auch damit war die Farbe sehr knallig!! Wie man sich ein Neonpick eben vorstellt! Ich liebe China Glaze Lacke schon seit Jahren und weiss, dass manche Farben mehr oder weniger deckend beim Auftragen sind, auch wenn sie so aussehen, aber bei diesem Lack ist er auf den Nägeln - nach nur einer Schicht - PERFEKT NEONPINK LEUCHTEND!! Ich habe trotzdem 3 Schichten mit Topcoat benutzt, da mir der Matteffekt nicht sonderlich gut gefällt, aber da man ja eh immer einen Topcoat drübertragen soll, war das kein Thema ;) Ich würde den Lack jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Also eines vorweg... die Farbe ist nicht richtig abgebildet es ist mehr ein peach Ton, aber Neon. Die Haltbarkeit ist super und man fällt definitiv auf. Wichtig wer auf schmale Pinsel nicht steht, ist dieser Lack nicht zu empfehlen, aber ich muss sagen ich komme mit dem Pinsel sehr gut zurecht. Die Farbe lässt sich sehr gut auftragen und wird nicht streifig. Das finish ist eher matt, aber sehr schön. Die Haltbarkeit ist sehr gut.
