Compared several brands of bait cooler boxes. The Engel product was my obvious choice.

Love this bait box. A little pricey but I fish for Specks (crappie) out of a 15' Jon Boat so on a days it was blowing it was so nice to not have water splashing all over me like it does in my 5 gallon bucket. It even tipped over once on a very rough day with no spillage. The net basket is a God send. No net to deal with and getting to the last few minnows is effortless. I might get the 30 to keep shrimp separate from the pinfish and sardines on my saltwater rig. I saw a few reviews online about how loud the pump is but mine was not a problem. I have run it on high speed for probably a total of 32 hrs on the same 2 Dcell batteries. Plugged it into my truck to keep the bait alive over night and didn't loose a one and that was with probably 3/4lb of minnows in the cooler. That's a lot of minnows. I highly recommend this cooler. It's the last one you will buy, unless you want to go bigger.

Cooler is very nice. The air pump quit working in 2 days it still runs but no air comes out.
