This book of one panel observational humor cartoons is a masterpiece. And a nostalgia mountain. It’s not that I remember any of the cartoons specifically, but having those moments of reflection on what is going on in each panel is the nostalgic moment. Thinking differently and filling in the gaps with your interpretation is so fun and wildly humorous.They were cheap enough that I bought some for my high school friends.However, if I put this into n the hands of kids today, they often don’t get what’s happening in the pictures. They can’t fill in the gaps…to literal.

Funny book. Originally sent and very dog eared in the mailing but it was resent and the recipient loved it. Great bathroom reader and author never disappoints. So, if you want the gift of laughter, or want to laugh yourself silly, get this!

This book is full of very humorous comics.The comics bring a very different view of how we might see and interpret situations.Each page is full of very different situations.If you have read any of the authors books you will understand, if you haven't then this is a must purchase so you can understand his humor.

You can never go wrong with The Far Side! No matter how many times you look, it’s always funny. Bought as gift for friend who will be laid up for a few weeks who surely has seen all of these but he is still laughing like it’s the first time!

This book was like a blast from the past! I’ve missed Gary Larson’s style of comedy since he went on sabbatical.

Since I'm a bit of a Gary Larson fan, I already had many of these cartoons .. from the original books... so the "Gallery" edition was probably not the best choice for me. However, if you don't already have the individual books, the Gallery edition is a nice compilation for you.
