Easy to understand book.

Book came bent and damaged

A terrific book. I am very glad to have it. I am retired, not a student, and wanted to learn some chemistry foundations for biology and molecular biology on my own. I am about half way through and am learning a lot. There is more to the subject than I imagined, but it is fascinating. The writing is excellent. I have never puzzled of a "sentence" wondering what it is supposed to mean. It is very plain, straightforward and indicated the authors know the material thoroughly. It is an unusually good textbook.

I do like the book, well written and clearly explanations which makes a heavy scientific book as this one becomes much more understandable to a non English speaker like me.
