Yo-Zuri Hybrid 600-Yard Fishing Line

Wow, what can I say? Like everyone says, it’s a great line. I took it offshore fishing to catch tuna and it performed flawless. 40lb topshot worked well for yellowfin. No break offs or knot issues. Easy to use, holds knots well and you get a ton of line for the price. I highly recommend this stuff as I become a huge fan of yozuri.

Good and strong line for fishing! Does not break easily.

A friend turned me on to this unbelievable line. I'd been using Maxima mainline with PLine florocarbon for leader for salmon and steelhead. This stuff is better than both of those with the vis of floro. It's way more abraision resistant than any florocarbon leader I've ever used and I've used a lot. I noticed immediately that this line seemed stronger than the stated test so I decided to do some testing of my own, comparing it to Maxima Ultra-green and PLine floro, using a static dead weight pull. Both Maxima and PLine 10# test broke right around 11 lb. dead weight tension. The Yo-Zuri 10# Hybrid held to 14.5 lb. I thought for sure the Maxima would beat it but this Yo-Zuri was way stronger. The diameter is smaller too. So I bought a spool of 10 lb. for leader, and another of 12 lb. for mainline. With its tensile strength, I'm pretty much ready for anything that swims in our rivers. You absolutely need to try this line. The price is awesome!

Quality and economically priced fishing line.

At $10 for 600 yards you just can not beat this stuff. I've used 8lb, 10lb, 12lb, 15lb and 20lb and did my own non-scientific line breaking and knot breaking tests and every pound test broke at least 25% higher than it rated breaking strength. And holly crayolas is it abrasion resistant as well. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $15-$25 for 150 yards of 100% fluorocarbon when this stuff is over 90% as good and over 5x cheaper. I wouldn't recommend anything over 10lb for spinning setups as the memory gets to be an issue unless you pay VERY close attention to your spool. But the 12lb and 15lb is my go-to for baitcasters and 12-15lb is my go to for short leaders. Been using it for 6 seasons now and can not recommend it strongly enough.

Best thought of as Mono 2.0, Yo-Zuri Hybrid is an outstanding hybridized line for all-around fishing. Made of fluorocarbon-infused monofilament, it is limp and castable enough for spinning gear, but maintains the qualities found in 100% fluorocarbon. While most manufacturers of 'hybrid lines' simply use a fluorocarbon coating over monofilament, Yo-Zuri found a way to truly molecularly mix both materials together. It does not absorb water, is neutrally buoyant (doesn't sink like true fluoro), has very little stretch, and is very sensitive. This line really shines in applications with crankbaits, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits,swimbaits, and top-water lures. It is also great for throwing weightless plastics! I would not recommend this monofilament/fluorocarbon blend for deeper applications, against heavily abrasive substrates like rocks or shell beds (i.e. texas rig and jig fishing). For those applications, you should use 100% fluorocarbon. This is arguably the BEST hybrid line around. It just lasts and lasts. Expect this line to be serviceable all year when used weekly. It holds up against UV much better than mono.

Best line ever for carp fishing, don't buy the latest name or fad buy this. Great knot strength and abrasive resistant, sinks etc, you'll want nothing else after using Yo-Zuri.

Good quality price item if not expert fisher but wants a nice product

Really impressed with the quality of the Yozuri Hybrid fishing line. It’s strong, smooth, and handles really well on the reel. The price is unbeatable for what you get. With 600 yards, I had more than enough to spool up three rods. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable line without breaking the bank.
