Happy Update: I had forgotten all about trying this shampoo (and the conditioner) 2 years ago when I came across it again and ordered the travel size of the shampoo. How could I have forgotten what this did to my hair? I recently moved to another state and something in the water, air, something was making my hair fall flat. I tried 3 different shampoos and all still same result: dull flat hair that looked limp and/or dirty the next morning. I ordered this and after one shampoo I remembered why I loved it so much! Shiny, healthy, fuller hair - look, this is no miracle treatment, but there is a noticeable difference to my hair than from the use of Biolage, Pur D'Or, and Paul Mitchel - this R+CO outshines them all (literally!). I walked in the room after I dried my hair and my granddaughter commented on how nice my hair looked and how shiny it was. And the next morning and in to the next day, so far, my hair doesn't look limp and dirty. I'll be ordering the full size! -------- This shampoo and conditioner gave me such volume for my baby fine thinner hair! I really am impressed. My hair is shiny and soft and full and stayed that way all day. The scent is very nice too. If you are scent-sensitive, you may not like this really apparent spicy scent but I enjoyed the experience. I ordered the sample to try as I've been disappointed before by shampoo and conditioner claims, but this is one I will definitely re-order in the full size. Lather: Enough lather for me - I'm used to sulfate-free shampoos that don't lather a lot. Rinsing out: The shampoo and conditioner both rinse out easily, and my hair feels thicker in the shower--there is a bit of a 'squeaky clean' feel, and that helps with baby fine hair. Look of hair: Very full and my hair even has some body, which it rarely does. Lots of shine. Feel of hair: soft but not too slippery (baby fine hair can be too slippery sometimes and fall flat). It feels as if I've been to the salon. Very happy with my order.

This thickening shampoo is amazing and smells wonderful. It makes your hair so clean, thick, and lustrous. Yes, it's expensive, but you only need a quarter size in your hand to get a full use. Lathers easily and fills the whole bathroom with a beautiful scent. It makes my hair shiny and bouncy. My hair stays clean and full-looking for up to three days. I was really surprised with how long it actually keeps my hair feeling super clean and super thick. I am excited to try the thickening conditioner, as well as, other products from R+Co. The way I found out about this shampoo line is from a sample pack of thickening shampoo and conditioner that I received 'free' with some perfume samples from a department store in Las Vegas. I was traveling and thought I would try out the sample pack and was blown away with the super high quality so when I got back from vacation, I made sure to search Amazon and found this wonderful full size 8.5 oz bottle. I ordered it through my Prime account with free shipping. I REALLY love this shampoo and encourage others to not think twice about the price. I've been using this shampoo since 2022 and HG for my hair. I have low density, coarse hair (asian) and kept my hair long since then. Hair is virgin and I use hair oil to maintain. The shampoo does not have much of a thickening affect for me but I had minimal breakage and split hairs. I did have some mild hair loss and the shampoo helped with hair growth (I have a lot of baby hairs). It lathers really well (you dont need much either) whether in soft or hard water and my hair feels clean but not squeaky. You don't ne I wash my hair every other day and use this during my repeat step (lather, rinse, repeat)

It's a bit pricey, but I got this for my husband who is concerned with thinning hair. He said he could feel a difference, like his hair was fuller and, honestly, it looked it! I don't actually know how big of an impact this shampoo made or how long lasting the effects are - but he did like it and that is enough for me. Minus one star due to price, but overall we're very happy with the quality of this product. And it lasted several months despite the small size. Will probably purchase again, just not every single time.

After 24 years of using whatever shampoo and conditioner my mother bought, I realized I’m definitely using products way too heavy for my fine hair. I did a lot of online research and found that this was one of the most recommended shampoos for fine hair. So far, I love it. I’ve used it a few weeks now and my hair seems so light and bouncy. The smell is good, not as strong and yummy as my old Bed Head shampoo and conditioner but it’s definitely not a bad smell. Since I cut my hair about collar bone length, all I use is this shampoo, no conditioner, and no more oil for my ends and things have been GREAT. Now, the poor reviews do hold weight so here’s why this shampoo might not be for you. People were complaining that it takes a lot of shampoo to get it sudsy and clean their hair and here’s how I found this is true. On a normal day, it takes me less than a quarter amount and it suds up just fine and cleans my hair great. BUT last week I curled my hair, used a texture spray, and wore it for two days applying more texture spray in between. When I went to wash it, it did not clean my hair. I woke up to greasy oily hair. So here’s the thing, if you have longer hair or use hair products on the daily, then no this shampoo is probably not worth it. You will need a large amount to clean your hair. If you’re like me, if you have short hair that’s usually always free from products, you’ll be just fine and your hair will look and feel amazing!

Tiktok Made Me buy it!! I gave this shampoo and conditioner a try because I love quality products. I was simply underwhelmed scent was weak and I personally love beautifully scented hair. I did not notice any difference in volume or styling. I will mention I normally use pureology and olaplex so I might be a bit of a snob, but hey I like what I like! It does lather well and cleans ok, but not for me.

To start, I love the shampoo. It works really well, it does a great job actually cleaning my hair, and offers great volume. It’s very thick and rich, and lasts a surprisingly long time for the size. I wash my hair every other day on average. My hair is greasy by the time I get to washing it and this stuff powers through that and dry shampoo no problem. Apparently I’m the only one that has an issue with the scent? It’s totally manageable, but it smells exactly like several of my husband‘s products. It’s not overwhelmingly masculine, but the scent is more what I would consider to be a male-oriented profile. It doesn’t linger too much after it’s washed out, especially not if you use a different conditioner. But it’s something worth noting. Definitely doesn’t diminish the value or remove any stars. It was just surprising the first time I tried it.

This is by far the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used. I have fine, limp hair, and it can dry out and look dull with other products. Not this one!! I have bounce, shine, and manageability!! The shampoo lathers nice, and they smell wonderful without overbearing. I’m on a budget, but was desperate for something good. A small amount of each works well on my shoulder length. I pat dry, apply a dot of curl cream i trust and diffuse dry in scrunched curls and hair spray lightly with tresemme.

My hair is fine, long, and straight, bit oily in the roots, and because I am getting old and losing some density I have been looking for a shampoo that maintains my hair’s density and at the same time does not weigh on my roots (most make my roots oily quickly while the length gets dry). This one has been working really well, Exceeding my expectations. I recommend it if you have a similar hair type. PS: I am realistic and I know you can’t just change your hair type by using a product, I am just looking to avoiding losing hair and maintaining mine healthy for longer, it’s been working so far.

It's unfortunate how fantastic this shampoo is for fine hair, because it's now nearly impossible to get the large size in Canada. Not to be dramatic... But this has been for years, and will forever more be, my holy grail shampoo. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. Any oil (or even conditioner) weighs it down like craaazzzy, and within 1 day I look like a rat. This shampoo not only gives you the body and bounce you want on day 1, but somehow it gives it to you again on day 2. I'm seriously considering crossing the boarder just for this shampoo, but for now, I'm micro-dosing what I have. Buy the shampoo.
