I had a disk surgery and unfortunately once you have a disk issue, it stays with you. Been on pain killers for years. This device is simply amazing. I have been using it a month now and did not need pain killers at all. I use it 30 min a day and the pain either disappears or is very low. Absolutely recommend it to anyone with lower back pain or other pain. I can't believe why doctors don't reccomend these units.

Using it since last 15 days, the build and performance quality is excellent. It acts as a good pain reliever for moderate pain, more power levels are desirable for alleviating higher pain levels. If you compare with the physiotherapist’s machine, this will fall short but by itself it is a good home pain relieving device.

This device is a miracle worker. I had my knee re twisted 3 days ago of which i can't walk properly. Used it just for 30 mins and i can walk alright. Just wow..

must buy for every home, especially those who have severe back pain or shoulder pain

Love it! You will not regret buying this.. The only issue I have is the wires are small and fear them breaking and Omron does not sell them separately.. I contacted them about them being thin (you want them thin so you wont feel them) but worry about them being broken. Omron said to get ahold of them if I have issues.. So will just wait and see if anything happens.. Other than that I love it.. I have dropped the unit a couple times so far.. No problems.. I use it a lot since I have had it and am still on the original set of batteries and still has a nice (bite) at strongest setting.. Even though it has 9 settings you will find one or 2 you like and stick with them.. 2 modes are strongest and the rest are kinda wimpy... But that may be different for you.. I put my intensity level around 12 or 13.. I wish the other modes were stronger feeling longer. Some build to a strong "shock" for just a few seconds and then build up to it every 3 mins or so. It would be cool if you could combine settings and it could be random.. You get kind of used to the same setting for 15 minutes..Minor issues really. It works as it should. amazon shipped it right away and the savings for this model with shipping was amazing. I could have gotten the basic model at a store for the same price as this deluxe model including shipping.. So buy it here or you will be paying so much more for just the basic model with one setting and half the intensity.. You cant go wrong buying this. The Icy hot version of tens unit is no comparison to this one, in price and in convenience of changing settings and the power that this one has.. You can turn this one up until it hurts, and I like that power!(hurts as in feeling the snap of the currant not actual pain really.)

look, for the price, this does a great job. it is an older style device with no fancy screen in color, but i have had this same device for 10 years and it still works great. if i have one negative to this product it is the limited availability of pads. this pad is NOT universal to the other manufacturers pads. this had a much smaller snap tab which also makes the cord specific to this device and not interchangeable for other devices. the device also uses AA batteries and it not rechargeable with a type c cable so you could say this is a negative as well. i still have one of two of my older omron devices and lost one to leaking batteries after 10 years use so i just bought a replacement which is the same as the one from 10 years ago. i have also found it to be the easiest to use. all the manufacturers use a silicone type sticky backing for the pads. the pads are a good size but dont have other options for shape and size like other manufacturers. i have noticed that the pads loosen and can drop off when swetting so apply to clean dry skin. im not sure if the other styles hold any better under the same conditions. one warning.... do not lose or throw away the plastic figure 8 piece which is the holder for the pads between use. you cant just stick them face to face between use. all said, i would still recommend this device and gives comfort when muscles are sore and nerves need mild stimulation.

i wish there was an option for 10 stars!!! After years of popping Tylenol like tic tacs this tens unit is a blessing from the LORD!!! if you experience pain from inflamation or other things this will be a game changer. i dont have to take tylenol very often anymore.

When the unit is in place, it works well. However, when the pads on placed on the lower back, and you are shifting whether in bed or on a chair, the pads keep rolling off and cords become disconnected. IT's a pain if you cannot reach around to connect when by your self. There has got to be a better way, maybe make the cord longer and a litter firmer of the clips.
