The tare function lets you zero your dosage spoon weight before you fill it. The top opens two ways, so you can weigh larger things, like those tiny measuring spoons, using a bottle cap or something to elevate them off the case.

I bought this to use for reloading, getting very consistent results. I have been getting ES of 20 or less (single digit SD's) among different loads and charges. I am not ready to spring $500+ for a A&D 120fx, so this will fit my needs for now. I use a beam scale to get close, then finish up on this scale. I do use the 120v AC, batteries may effect readings. I know low battery charge will effect torque readings in my Snap-On electronic torque wrenches, so I am not expecting this to handle batteries any different. Using AC will supply a consistent current. The limitations are tolerable given the price of an A&D. Even in AC mode, it does seem to shut off too quickly. That's a hassle when you have a tray of powder and you have to dump and Tare again with an empty tray. The other issue is that while it does display to the 0.01 gr, it does not always measure in these small increments. Put a tray on the scales and trickle up to the charge weight. If you are close, -0.03, it may not register as you trickle grains. I will take the tray off, wait a second, then return the tray and start adding while the weight registers. Or, take off, add a grain or 2, then replace. Once it settles, it seems to be accurate. Know that air movement will register on the scales. Move your arm across the scale or another person walking past can change the readings until it settles again. It is very sensative. But at this price point (pre Tariffs) it was a good buy for me.

Perfect reloading scale.

A nice small battery powered lab scale that repeats and is accurate. Precision to the milligram. I use it for measuring my dry ingredients for perfuming, though it can be used for measuring supplements or jewelry.

When I'm investing in Gold or Diamonds, I need the best accuracy I can get when determining weight. It's bulky and thick for sure, but gets the job done. I didn't like the size at first but got used to it pretty quickly actually. Never had any issues with it 2-3 months later and frequent use.

This scale is garbage at weighing anything finer than .01g increments, even though it's advertised as .001g accurate. It routinely gives different weights for the exact same item that fluctuate by .002 to .009. Calibration used to fix the issue but it had to be calibrated constantly. Even worse, now my calibration doesn't work at all, when I enter calibration mode and add the 50g weight used to calibrate, the scale just keeps flashing and never actually calibrate. It's virtually useless to me. DON'T THINK THIS IS A QUALITY SCALE, it's 20$ lol.

You get what you pay for… it’s not 100% accurate but it’s decent for the price… I was using for weighing powder charges and a couple were a bit off but for a hunter, def with in acceptable tolerances

Used it once so far, cc calibrate and go. Seems ok...
