Nice and deep...just what I wanted.

Very nice stainless steel, and wooden handle but would have liked a hole or strap to hang it up. I bought the 8oz which is quite large. I had it in my cart for a year, undecided over the many sizes. I bought a 4oz elsewhere (which is a perfect size for egg foo young patties) but wanted this larger one for serving soups and stews. Pretty Pleased.

Very sturdy. A bit heavy, but won't fall apart like my old cheap one.

This is 6 oz ladle, not 8oz. I had the broken 8oz one, your is smaller. I used the measured cup, It’s 6oz only. Waste my money.

Chinese chefs use this type of big ladles to cook with because of its versatility - able to scoop/stir/stir-fry/mix/crush/flatten/press, all you really need to swing besides the cleaver in the kitchen.This one seems to have a sturdy construction, there is no welded point so I assume this was made from a one-piece construction. I do worry about the wooden handle cracking over time, but I hope it will last. Overall good purchase for the price, best used with a wok.
