Love the set

I received this a few days ago and was shocked (in a good way) at the size and weight of this set. AND it comes in a very nice padded case. I don't know why but I thought this set was going to be small. I'm brand new to metal stamping so I guess I just had no clue what to expect. It's a very nice beginner's set and has what you need to get started; you just need to supply your own metal blanks. It didn't take me long to find out that I really suck at metal stamping. LOL I'm going to need a lot of practice! But I feel like I bought the right set to start out with.

Everything about this kit is awesome. Except the shafts on the capital letters I received are larger than the advertised size. The lowercase and numbers are perfect, but the capitals will not fit the jig that I 3D printed based on the 3mm shaft sized stated in the discription. It is not the sellers fault however. As the capital shafts are stamped “3mm” right on them. They are a good bit larger. It seems to be a manufacturing error.

Love love love this product! I was looking at similar products from other brands that were over double the price. Decided to take a chance on this set and I’m so happy I did! The directions are clear on how to use. The box set it comes in is great for storage!

Shanks are not all 6mm as I was told via messenger. Thus, none of these fit my 6mm jig, I now need 3 different size jigs.

Have to say I was surprised by the quality of this set. Arrived well packed in a compact box. Upper case, lower case and numbers in individual boxes. Hammer is appropriate for need. Satisfied!

When the package arrived I already noticed a heavy weight to it and I was pleasantly surprised to open a quality packaged matte black box with silver foil logo. When I opened it the pieces were snuggly fit into foam, ensuring each piece was safely cushioned. I tried it right away and can I say, THIS STAMPING SET IS SO EASY TO USE! I think my 6 year old niece could do it. It came with upper case letters, lower case letters, and a set of numbers. I did my research and ImpresssArt (a popular brand) charges $22-$60 just for one set of letters whereas you get 2 sets plus numbers + the whole set with Owden. A great deal in my opinion. The only thing I can say so far (after making about 10 keychains and a necklace) is that the lowercase 'h' can ever-so-slightly be mistaken for a 'b' perhaps, moreso in photos I use for social than real life though. But honestly the charm has been such an elegant addition to my products. Not to mention I no longer waste money on alphabet charms where I am left with y's and z's. Definitely recommend!

Awaiting a resolution or will have to return the item. The capital letters are not as described. The products themselves appear well built and sturdy.

Matériel résistant qui fonctionne très bien. Malheureusement, les dimensions inscrites dans l’annonce sont fausses. Les lettres majuscules ont plutôt une grandeur de 5mm (et non de 3mm comme annoncé). Les majuscules ne peuvent donc pas être utilisées avec un Blockmit, car plusieurs lettres se touchent et passent même par-dessus les autres.
