Works, my friend the squirrel who greets me every morning for years seemed to have left the area. I took a month or so for hi. To finally move on. Also my fig tree this year has not been ravaged by birds and bugs. I am sure this device has something to do with this, because I did not spray any pesticides this year. Work great!

The item works as described and intended. I did not give a five start because of the inconvenience of the turn-on switch.

Love it and hate it. This product does what I want it to but it also could have been way better. It will scare any living thing away including humans! The ultrasonic setting is not ultrasonic because the human ear can hear it and it's painful. I can't even use that setting because in order to turn it on and off I have get close to box and it's horrible. The other negative is that in order to turn it on and off or change settings there is a backing that has tons of tiny hard to use screws. Why on earth would the manufacturer not just use an easy to open backing like on a tv remote? Badly designed for sure. Unless the product is far away from civilization you are not going to want to leave it on all time. Even in the sounds (not ultrasonic) setting it goes off all time because another flaw is that the motion detector is too sensitive. A slight breeze sets off this thing. I still give it 3 stars because it does scare away pests as it's supposed to do but it could be so much better!

We tried to use this in our garden. I hung this device up for one day, then it went into the trash can. It makes an aggravating high pitch sound that I can hear and gives me a headache. The instructions say to switch it off when pets are nearby, but the off switch is behind a cover with 12 tiny screws and takes at least 5 minutes to get into. When the battery runs low it makes a continuous sound until you remove the batteries. Also, per the instructions, at night all of the sounds (audible and supposedly inaudible) are suspended, so all that it does is flash a light. You'd be just as well to order a solar motion light for 1/4 the price. A B S O L U T E J U N K !

After 2 weeks I haven't had anything eat anything from my garden. Update: It worked all season, we never had a deer in our garden, or even a bunny that I know of. The neighbor said they could hear it across the street when they came in and when they left. But you can turn the volume down. It does the trick!

good device. it works against bats which s*** my balcony.

Works like a charm. Wish I had two more for my large backyard.

so far it seems to be working. No small animals.
