Lowrance Elite FS Fish Finder/Chartplotter, 7-12 Inch, C-MAP Charts

This Lowrance elite fs 9in has been the reason for my last 6 trips on lake stevens pulling limits of kokanne. If the sonar shows a school off to a side I deutsch to side scan and find the side where the fish are and mark them. I then swing around in my 120 pdl kayak and pull fish from that school. I get better using this elite fs every week when I hit the water. I was gkingbto buy the HDS but for a kayak the elite is amazing. A 20ah lithium battery on Amazon is $60 and more than you need fir a day fishing and only weights 6 lbs. Everything has come along way so I woukd say get the elite sf and start feeling like your cheating because you can actually find and stay on the fish much easier. If your fishing from a kayak yak hobby has the best mount for the transducer, it's very over built and easy to fit to your kayak especially if it's an oldtown 120 pdl.

Very nice think it will do the job and some 1995 i pirchased a Lawrence 350a works ok but this one rocks Will test it this spring Update. Takes a bit to setup and learning curve can be tasking but nice

Great features for the price of this unit. CMAP chartploter ,waypoints. Downscan ,Sidescan and 2D sonar. Screen mirroring to tablet or cell phone. This is really nice when you’re at the opposite end of the boat the MFD is located at. I can see Structure on lake bed with amazing detail. Expandable functionality with active target transducer and s3100 module. Intuitive design. Perfect size for my Basstracker console. 9 inch Elite FS fits behind my windshield with room for my coffee tumbler in cup holder.

Excellent fish finder. Mounted on my kayak. I can tell when there are fish around and structure on the bottom. GPS is accurate as well.

I ordered and received an FS9. Took two days to rip out my old Lowrance and install the new one. Right off the turn on and checkout I knew something was mot correct. The chart was centered in the center of the USA and it was obvious the GPS function was not working and speed over ground was non-existent. Got ahold of Amazon and they asked that I get with Lowrance first...Which I did. Two to three hours of over the phone back and forth I finally convinced them there was a problem. Lowrance sent me another. Plugged it in and boom: the chart went to my exact point on the USA. Checked out my SOG and works perfect. I have boxed to send the old unit back. All of my wasted time talking on the phone could have been minimized if the Lowrance rep would have just asked where the chart went upon power up! This is why I am giving it a low grade Otherwise the unit works fine!

Great finder with most of the features of higher end units. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for quality & value without the expense. Easy to install, map and functions are very useful. 👍
