Easy, reusable sous vide and freezer bags
This set comes with 3 different sizes of bags. For single meal meats, the smallest bags have more than enough room. The big bags are BIG. Not sure if it would fit a whole chicken or other comparable cut of food, but I haven't tried yet. I could definitely see it being used for maybe a Cornish hen or pork shoulder. I use this for sous vide cooking and storage of leftover meats in the freezer when I don't cook all the items that come in a purchase. These bags are great and the pump to take the air out works perfectly. There's even a place to write in erasable maker what's in the bag and the date it was stored (or will go bad). And since this removes all air from the bag, you can definitely put other items (aside from just meat) in the freezer that might otherwise get freezer burn. I love any items in the kitchen that are reusable, especially ones that reduce my plastic usage. And this definitely achieves that. With that though, cleanup is obviously a little more of a hassle. Having to cleanup the insides of the bag though is a small price to pay for not having to constantly have a vacuum sealer out or going out to buy Ziploc style bags. Others have also mentioned the airtight seal not lasting long enough. I haven't personally experienced this yet but could see it being an issue. I have more than enough bags for that not to be an issue for a long time at the moment as my wife doesn't eat meat, so she rarely uses it for veggies. So we've been cycling through the same 3-4 small bags. But the bags aren't extremely expensive so I'd be willing to buy a second set so long as this issue didn't arise more than once a year.

Would recommend
This is a pretty good value for what you get. A large amount of different sized bags and the hand pump works pretty well. If you dont have an automatic vacuum sealer id recommend this. I even use the hand pump when my automatic is having issues due to moisture.

Works great while it works
To be fair, I didn't buy this for sous vide, but I may try it. I bought it to seal my coffee beans . After four days, the original bag no longer sealed. Probably okay, really, how many times can you reuse a bag that will be filled with meat/vegetable/butter/milk juices and expect to clean and reuse. I will use them up and assuming they are not toxic, I would think they are a good buy. The ziplock seems sturdy and the first two times I sealed my beans it worked perfect. One always has issues with bags in the sous vide. I generally use the vacuum bag - food saver - for doing this. But there can be leakage and if I am doing a long cook I use two bags. But this method, with the little pump is nice and quiet. I am not sure how keen I am on washing this bag out after using it once, which make it a more pricey option from my point of view.

Durable, good bags. Work as advertised, but not easy to clean.
These are good bags and they work as advertised. Place the food in the bag, seal it, place it flat on the counter and use the included syringe to suck air out of the bag with a simple pumping motion on the plunger. Super easy. Super effective. My food doesn't float due to air bubbles trapped inside like it does with the water displacement method of sealing a bag for sous vide cooking. I've cooked in three of the bags in the set thus far over a period of several weeks. I've reused the bags a few times each and they are washable, but it's not an easy chore. First, I rinse them in hot water. Then I add a few drops of dish liquid to the bag and I scrub it with a soft brush in water as hot as I can stand. Then I dump, turn them inside out and scrub again. Tiny bits of food at the corners of the bag are the worst to get at. Like with all plastic, you can feel the oils of the food left behind unless you really scrub at it. So with that said, how would I rate it? Pretty high. It's extremely affordable, effective, takes up little space and does what it claims it does -- reusable sous vide bags. And it's easy to use, though not all that easy to clean. They won't last forever, but I can see getting 10-20 uses out of each bag before it gets thin or punctures from wear and tear (or brush bristles in my case).

LIFE CHANGING
Absolutely amazing. Life changing with my plastic bags! I use 4-6 sandwich ziplock bags everyday, meal preps, saving chopped veggies/ingredients, and I felt so bad using so much plastic to just throw away. No more! These bags are SUPER easy to clean, completely reusable (the get a bit crinkled but still completely resealable and air gets vacuumed out), and are overall super good quality! It does take a while to suck all the air out with the manual vacuum, but it does a fine job and has kept my chopped veggies still fresh for up to almost 2 weeks! When washing, I fill with a bit of soap and water, seal, slosh around, and rinse. Tada! All clean! I'm so glad I use these now and I'm making a better environmental impact. Also, I prefer these over one time use ziplocks because they can be vacuum sealed, which keeps my food INCREDIBLY fresh for over a week at least. Amazing.
