Nice style, useful
Looks nice, seems sturdy and stable, easy to assemble. Before I bought this, I read reviews about this (and similar items) that said it was difficult to put together. I think it's fine, as long as you pay attention and follow the directions. If you've assembled stuff like IKEA before - where you have to pay attention to details in the instructions - then you should have no problems putting this together.I originally bought this to use as a wine rack, but ended up needing it as a bookcase. Probably buy another one for wine. As for style, my wife hasn't complained about it yet, and she hates bookshelves and books, so I guess it's ok.The only downside to this style is that when you put books on it in the usual manner - spine out - then on the right side shelves, you see the back of the book. To see the front of the book, you'd have to have the spine on the inside - wasn't ago does that?!? It's fine if you have just one book on the shelf - like an oversized picture book - but I'll probably use the right hand side for wine. Which brings up an obvious element of this bookshelf; you don't need bookends, but you also can't put knick-knacks on it. Although speakers should fit just fine.

Love this bookshelf!
This bookshelf is very nice. The dark walnut coloring is as pictured. All pieces, tools and hardware was included, nothing missing. All pieces are clearly labeled, including all screws, etc. It was easy to put together and took about 25 minutes. This included unpacking the box and laying everything out. The instructions are clear and easy to read, just pay attention to which direction your screw holes are facing. There are hands in the pictures showing you exactly what to look for.The shelves are a great size and will hold my books with no problem. Everyrhing functions as it should. Securing to the wall is recommended. The back piece is 2 pieces, it is not one solid piece. That would be my only complaint but I don't see it being a problem.I love this bookshelf and I do recommend. It looks very nice and will hold lots of books (I plan on placing heavy books on the bottom to help prevent the leaning that is described in other reviews). I am pleased with my purchase.

Nice Appearance and Sturdy Material/Design
Bought this bookshelf as we had too many books. I was satisfied building the shelf as I did not run into any issues and it was straight forward and simple to assemble. The design is simple and clean, not taking up too much space in my living room and would work perfect in any kind of room as a highly accessible bookshelf unit! I would definitely recommend checking out this product, as I have had no issues with the seller, product or shipping and would definitely buy again!
