I bought these radios on a whim, and thought they probably aren't going to be as good as advertised. I was extremely surprised and very satisfied with the way these little radios work. With each radio coming with a speaker mic, and a separate charger for each radio which makes recharging each radio a lot faster. My first test was to see how well they would work in my home. We have a 2 story home with a basement. I went into the basement and had a conversation with my daughter over the radio, and she was on the 2nd floor. The next test convinced me that I am buying the 6 piece kit. I had to fly to Mississippi to help one of my children move, and we were going to be driving 3 different vehicles, and I thought it would save on our cellphones, and all 3 of us would hear the same conversation at the same time. I thought it would be a great test to see if they would work between vehicles on the trip up. The radios worked flawlessly. We were separated a couple of miles or more due to traffic sometimes, and we never lost contact. We traveled on flat & hilly terrain, and even got into some smaller mountains. The trip took us almost 10 hours, and we never had one go down on us. The battery life was great, and the audio was crystal clear. We came upon someone else using the same channel during the trip, and with 16 pre-programmed channels available, it wasn't an issue. When we got back we had to travel another 3 hours the following day and didn't get a chance to charge any of the radios but again, they worked great. We still never lost a radio to a dead battery, and it was priceless to have them when I had to back up a trailer with a car on it inside an apartment complex parking lot. I am going to order the larger kit as I stated before. I don't know how they will work for someone traveling in the woods or on a trail but they worked great for us. The radios also come with an operators manual that is well written, and explains how to use these gems. Don't let the lower price of these radio's scare you away. They work great!

Bought these for a cruise but found out they were on the banned list. Instead we used them on a trip where 3 of us were following each other for a move across state. They worked perfectly and made it so much easier to talk on these instead of on our phones. They also had a range of about 1.5 miles. Would buy again!

Bought after watching a Project Farm comparison review of these radios. They work well with exceptional range and clarity. Going to be using these for theater production communication. The earpieces are comfortable and do not lose quality in sound and will help keep communication intact without interrupting performances of the theater. This is probably the best bang for your dollar for those who want a basic walkie talkie for hunting, construction, or communication as I have stated above.

Works good, but not on typical frequency had to program

We have these for almost 2 years my 9yr old son takes good care of it and the kids still enjoy it on a regular basis. The range is excellent and they even tested it out in our populated area at a distance of around 2miles or so and it still sort've worked but at that range did have quite a bit of static and occasional got interupted by others. But was fun for them to test it. Mind u I think it was fun for us parents to take it along on our errands to help the kids test the range out. Lol. I'd totally recommend this product. It wors awesome. And the fact that we got 4 at such a great deal it even more awesome this way more kids can happily play together with less fighting over who gets a walkie takie.

We also gave one to our neighbors for emergencies, and it picks up perfectly between the houses, which gives us extra peace of mind. These are GREAT! Charging and using these is a breeze! Me and my kids use them primarily to keep in touch when they go play with a friend up the street whose house/yard makes yelling for them to come home embarrassing and ineffective. The wrist band on each allows the kids to hang them from their bicycle handlebars while in transit. One time, when my 13 year old and I went to the store, we split up the shopping list and each went shopping. We planned this and brought 2 of the 4 devices. When I was talking to him while in the store, the other two kids heard me on the devices at home! That's over several miles away! The speak button is easy to use, even for 6 year old kids and the audio is OK as long as you talk clearly, a bit slower, and wait a bit after hitting the talk button. Battery life is fantastic and each device tells you when it needs to be charged. I only keep 2 of the chargers on the kitchen countertop and just keep 2 regularly charged for talking with kiddos when they're far away in the subdivision. These are durable and fun and functional walkie talkies. You will not regret buying them. These were a Christmas gift to my kids in 2024 and the devices are still going strong!
