Totally Worth It
Works great. I stripped an entire house exterior with this. Somewhere online I found an adapter for traditional angle grinder discs, and the whole thing is better for stripping paint than a rotary sander - this is cheaper, the shape, power and general form factor more conducive to stripping paint. Gets very hot just like all other tools, quieter than rotary sanders. Loved it!

Saved the day.
I was desperate for any tool that could resolve the huge job of prepping our 100 year old cottage for a much needed paint job. Facebook video lead me to the Paint Eater and based on that I ordered one online. Absolutely no disappointments! The tool worked as promised no glitches, no performance concerns and despite working it constantly for 8 - 10 hour days for 4 days it's still runs like new. No regrets and would recommend to anyone.
