How is this for the beach in sand?

I do not use mine for the beach. I think you would need wider wheels for this type of wagon to work in the sand

Could the bottom regularly hold 2 x 5 Gallon paint buckets at about 55 pounds each? The bottom of them is just about 11" wide.

I think so. I don’t know how long it would last overtime? But, the material is very heavy duty. Easy to line with a large trash bag, to put under your paint cans. I’ve recommended this cart and gotten a lot of compliments on it.

The various color choices listed range in price from $59 through $105. The specs (weight, dimensions) also are different. Are these different models?

I ordered the green and it looks just like the picture that is featured. I think you should click on the different colors and see if the specs are different. I do not know otherwise.
