Q: To use it as a wagon, do you need to buy extra parts, or is everything included?

Everything included. However I would like some extra netting/ baskets attachable with Velcro to use for drinks or other stuff I want close at hand when I’m using it as a chair. There are no cup holders or places to put stuff you want to put your hands on without adding something like that

it lies back close enough to flat.

Q: Sand.. horrible in the sand.. anyone retrofit or modify the wheels to make them roll better in the sand?

It is harder to roll in the sand but much better than carrying everything! I agree that the tires should be bigger. This is one of my favorite buys of all time!!

Q: What is the max weight limit the chair can hold?

In the cart position, it can hold 100 lbs. In the lounger position, it can hold 225 lbs.
