Mac pushing external 35 inch 2k monitor - old cable flickering - this cable zero issues!
Mac's are very picky with cables and I used a cable that came with the monitor which caused a lot of flicking. I did lots of research on new cables and bought this one and solved the problem with the old cable entirely. Highly recommend this - especially those with MacBooks.

Perfect cord for Macbook Pro to Ultrawide Monitor
This is your solution to hooking a macbook pro to an ultrawide monitor. I was having problems with HDMI cords to my display where the resolution of my screen was not populating as an option and the color of the screen was yellowish. I got this cord to try and it is the solution, my screen now is full resolution and no problems with my macbook being closed and displaying on my monitor

MSI laptop to Samsung ultra wide
This works great, could barely believe it. I bought a Samsung G9, and was looking forward to hooking it up when I realized, HDMI does not have the bandwidth to support the monitor I was looking at a pixelated 100hz screen. It took hours of research to figure out that my MSI GS75 w/2080 had a {usb3/thunderbolt/ DISPLAY-PORT 1.4!} AIO which is what I needed. So I looked for cables and found this one, it is awesome! All the hrz and full 5x2k resolution, windows dectects it automatically! Since then I have upgraded all my PC cables to dp-cables. The cable/port is fragile only because it's coming out of a friggin small "usb3" port but the cable and connecters are solid. Feel sorry for the Mac owners who's only choice is this sort of cable, on that note during research i saw allot of "Mac" related cables that would have worked the same way, just because it says Mac on it doesn't mean it won't work main thing is DISPLAY-PORT version 1.4 or higher(i thing they have version 2 out now) and check what your Grafikcard supports eg a 980gtx only supports 1.2 and nivdia didn't bother to update their port version on the 40xx series leaving 8k res wanting. Is a shame. Moral of story is this is a great cable, is durable, and has all the options you need. Thanks

Stopped working after two months
I bought this cable in September and it worked without issue for almost two months. It was connected to a 200Hz 2k monitor and picture was great. After two months I moved my monitor for the first time and my screen went black. I tried unplugging and retrying the cable but it still turns the screen black whenever the cable is moved/touched. I have tried other cables with the screen and computer port and those have worked without issue so I know it’s an issue with the cable. Return window closed so I’m not able to return or replace.Edit:Maxonar reached out to me to resolve the issue and has since sent me a new cable. I have plugged in the new cable using the same ports as before and this one seems to be working for now. I'm really happy they were quick to respond and get a new cable out to me with two day shipping so I could get back to work right away. I will update this review again in a couple months with a full five stars if this cable continues to work. Thanks, Maxonar!

Very good
Works as advertised. I may be lucky-it has strict technical requirements in order to be compatible. Lenovo P52 had correct type C ports for both power and display. A used -older- monitor I wanted to add had display port input. Bought cable - had to google issue with one display on HDMI booting the other off and vice versa. Needed to recognize an additional thunderbolt port on laptop was available, though it appeared to be grouped with something else. Once I realized that might be my extra thunderbolt port, that solved the issue. (Power port could send display signal but was not compatible with the other extra monitor being used.) Another item I purchased - a docking station - may be useful but is not needed for now, as I originally thought.
