Fits 3" muffler perfectly. Ordered another brand previously and it was too small to fit over muffler so be careful when using any other brand of clamp. This one is high quality, sized correctly and at a reasonable price.

Finally got around to installing my turn downs today. Needed clamps and saw that evil energy made there own. Worked exactly as they should and delivery was quicker than expected. I’ve bought a few different things from evil energy like fuel hose and such and have always been impressed with prices and quality of there products. Honestly I just liked the name wich was y I started buying from them. Keypoint: The hardware the use on this impressed the hell out of me! I'm very familiar with working on cars and the force I needed to use to get my slip join to actually clamp I thought for sure the bolt would snap or the splined part strip. It did not and everything is holding together great will update if it rusts out or something else bad happens long term. There is more details about my use below. These clamps design don't allow them to fit a lot of the variances in exhaust piping so fitment/sizing can be frustrating. I was using these to clamp down on a stainless exhaust slip joint with no relief slots cut in. This is an example where this clamps inability to cover a wider range of diameter makes it a pain. The 2.25" pipe expanded to make a slip joint is slightly too big for the 2.25" clamp for the sizes they list and too small for the 2.5" clamp. I took the risk I would be able to take the clamp apart get just enough of the threads to get it started and make it work. This is how it worked out I had plenty of threads to get it started but I was not expecting the amount of torque I would need to apply to get the slip-on joint to clamp down. I'm not sure if it was the stainless slip joint having no reliefs cut into it but the amount of torque I had to apply to the nut to get the joint to lock was a ton for an exhaust clamp. The fact the bolt did not snap or the spline part strip is a credit to this product.

Does the job with good clamp force. No leaks. Size is what itb says. Good durability as well. Used these for my mbrp catback.

The quality is great but the description should be updated to address the size. If it’s listed as 2.5” clamp I would think that means it’s suitable to clamp a 2.5” diameter exhaust. That’s not the case. It means the smallest the clamp will possibly go is 2.5”. You’ll need to order a size smaller if you want any clamping force.
