Q: Can the brushes used for watercolor?

That is ok. But we do not recommend that because brush hair for watercolor would be softer than that for acrylic.

Q: Can they be used for nail acrylic?

TBH Not 100% sure if these can be used for nails. Originally, I purchased these for use as fine art paintbrushes with standard artist's acrylic paint. They are small in size, so they will do detail!

Q: How would you rate the quality of these with the artist loft, sold at michaels? on par, or better quality ?

Excellent. My art teacher was so impressed that she ordered a set.
