I bought a single pen before buying this big set- these are fabulous pens. The brush end is very flexible and you can get a very narrow line, and a broader one, just with pressure. It is very smooth to use and clear lines. So they make great lettering pens. They are water soluble, so equivelant to a loaded paintbrush. There are Lots of You Tube reviews, and often there is a complaint about how they react with water on paper. Like any water colour you need to wet the paper slightly ahead, or it will be less smooth in shading. They work really well on watercolour paper, which is where they really perform best. The colours are great ( set of 60) some are quite bright/ synthetic hues, and I'm not greatly enamoured by neon colours, which there are neon pink, orange, yellow and green. I would highly recommend these pens, the quality of brush is great. These are very well priced ( I saw same box on Simon Says Stamp. com for $207 !) but they are still quite expensive for pens, until you get to have a go. They are streets ahead of other pens. I'd advise maybe to buy one to try. But if you enjoy lettering and watercolours you'll love these. I've seen people using with stamps, to colour images as well as on the stamp it's self as an ink. I'm delighted with them. They do all come individually wrapped, which is a test of patience, but twisting cap and body seems to be easiest way to unwrap. Enjoy them.

Interesting product. Keep away from heavy handed people as they will press too hard and damage the tips. Needs to be used gently to gain maximum ink flow. Good range of colours. If you buy this for kids make sure they have a gentle touch otherwise these will not last. I enjoyed using them but it took a bit of practice to get the most out of them ac I wadyunfamiliar with these brush pens. Happy to recommend.

Amazing colours. Love the vibrancy and ease to use. I recommend going for 48 pieces set though as this set has some neon colors. Not fan of those flashy colors but I'm so happy about the set. The purchase process was amazing. Items arrived way ahead of time. Loved the origami gift I got from Japanstore. Nice gesture. They are also very responsive on emails. Great customer service and handling.

Loves these pens, arrived really quickly, can't wait to get crafting. Perfect for watercolour, but give you more control than traditional watercolours.
