No more digging squirrels
I purchased this for garden pots to deter digging squirrels. Looks nice in my landscaping and next to my brick. Works well even for the most determined diggers. I will buy another 10 pounds for remaining pots.

Great for aquascaping!
Super dusty, but they're rocks being shipped and knocked around. I think it's common sense to say you should rinse them and not open them up inside a home where you can't easily clean the dust. Great for aquascaping!

Met Described Expectations
Product arrived in a timely manner and was as described in the offer. While the product had no issues, for me, the product was too small for my project. The product was usefu, just not the size I was looking for in the project.

Exactly what I was hoping for
Just received the lava rocks and filled the fire pit. Exactly what I was hoping for. Was surprised at how many of the rocks were of good size and shape. Great buy and delivered quickly.

Naturalistic. Like a volano. Never mind phony ceramic logs.
Mar 2025 - New home. New empty gas fireplace and Christmas was coming. Gotta do something, fast. Never tried lava rock before. In fact grew up with wood fireplaces, mostly. Ceramic logs way too phony. Lava rocks, medium sized, piled in the pan below the gas pipe worked great. Fooled around with placement and one can well imagine being on the slopes Mona Loa watching the flames crawl up through the cracks. A very satisfactory and kinda truthful, naturalistic effect. We like it a lot!

Not safe
I’d actually choose No stars for exploding rocks! Within 15 minutes they were popping out of our fire pit and burned our outdoor carpet. Find something else!
