Q: Comments mention children around 3 to 5 years old. What about an 8 year old, should he have a more adult one?

I got these for my 6 year old for Christmas, so of course I played with them before wrapping, as did my 12 year old. I don't see why they wouldn't be great for an 8 year old, too! You have to focus them depending on the distance, but they are easy to use and work well. Plus, because they aren't super costly, you don't have to worry about them being smacked around or banged up while they are outside exploring and looking!

Q: Where are these made?

Plastic and glass is mu best guess. These are actually decent binoculars- the clarity is surprising for a child's item.

Q: How can i ask for pink??
