Bach Original Flower Remedy Dropper, 20 ml, Star of Bethlehem Flower Essence

I'VE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR DECADES AND HAVE ALWAYS KEPT A BOTTLE IN THE MEDICINE CABINET. NOT ONLY DOES IT WORK TO NEUTRALIZE GRIEF AND SHOCK, BUT A FEW DROPS HELPS ME OUT ON THOSE RARE DAYS OF DEPRESSING OR MELANCHOLY MOODS. I OCCASIONALLY BUY A BOTTLE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO I THINK WOULD BENEFIT FROM IT. MY FRIEND KEEPS ONE IN THE GLOVEBOX IN HER CAR.

I had my beautiful Bengal cat Kika for 12 years. He was both born and died in the year of the rat. He passed two months ago yesterday and I’m sleeping with his little mahogany box of ashes & looking for orange white and black hairs in the dryer filter because when they’re no longer there, he’s really gone. My friend suggested this herb because apparently it helps with grief, which based on what I wrote above you can see that’s where I am. I’m already on my second bottle and have a third coming. I don’t know if it takes the edge off because I don’t know where I’d be without it. But I can say I have hope, and probably in six months I’ll be ready to adopt a couple Kika cousins. And I have opened my heart to a kitty finding me, some furball recognizing a witch who lost her Familiar. Actually one came into my yard three times last week, maybe Kika sent her to check up on mommy. We stared intensely at each other and she decided to move on. But I’m sure he got the message that I’m mourning the loss of his constant love. I’m better able to focus on my work as time goes on, time still seems strangely “off,” and I was on edge for a while, frustrated with dogs & such, but not so much anymore. I trust this MIGHT be taking the edge off enough that I have a third bottle coming. I have a few drops a few times a day. Not sure how much I buy into the concept of only taking two drops but I strongly believe in and successfully use many plant medicines, teas, tinctures & supplements. I just don’t have enough experience with grief to know for sure whether it’s this or something else that is helping me stay on top of my work, on top of my health, on top of my relationships. But I’m extremely hopeful and highly functioning, so if it might be this or if it’s even partly aiding in overall support, that’s enough for me.

I purchased this for my three dogs, who unfortunately have to be crated for part of the day for several days while we tile our entire house. They are all three very high-spirited and very scary until you know them. Our floor installers are absolutely terrified of their constant barking and growling, and of course the dogs are quite stressed out. Cue this magical potion. I didn't think it would work but decided to give it a shot. So glad I did! Within 5 minutes of dosing the big ones (60 lbs each) about 4 drops and the littler one (25 lbs) about 2, a hush fell over the house. The dogs laid down in their crates and just... chilled. They were fully responsive, not comatose or "drugged". They didn't sleep, they were just perfectly calm and alert. This state lasted for about 3-4 hours before they slowly began to start getting stressed and barking again, at which point I repeated the dosage. Administering it is also easy, you just squeeze the dropper into the side of their mouth and they swallow it on the spot. I haven't noticed any weird or unsual side-effects. Their energy level is the same when it wears off, and their appetite is as ravenous as always. I will definitely be continuing to use this occasionally with the black GSD, who is an absolute basket case of anxiety all the time due to mistreatment from her previous home.
