Mori-Nu Silken Tofu Firm, Shelf Stable, 10.8 oz, Case of 12 Packs

Finally!!!! Tofu, shelf-stable! My stash will last me for a year, if it lasts that long. I love miso soup and stir-fries, although by no measure am I vegetarian. I was so delighted when Amazon sourced miso in tubs, dehydrated Japanese vegetables and is always a good source for my bone broth and excellent udon noodles.

Yummy tofu...use it all the time. Buy by case. Always put a block or two in freezer comes out a really nice texture.

Great convenience for last minute use. Nutritous protein and low sodium / low cholesterol are a bonus. Just know that silken tofu has a smooth gelatin like texture which are entirely different from regular pressed tofu. Each type offer their own unique use in recipes.

Bought both firm and extra-firm in Feb 2026– hoped to love, tried tofu for first time. Both seemed exactly same - firm and slippery, choppable with a baby spoon, and mostly smooth, but not spongy, was basically what we imagined firm tofu would be like. We were disappointed that it wasnt as soft as some people described, would have helped with chewing-swallowing problems in this family. Flavor was what we expected too, just mild soybean that took up the flavors around it. Expires at least a year out. Took off one star bc we keep finding pieces of green plants and leaves, prob nutritious, but dont belong, and are a problem for our chewing-swallowing problems. Thank you for healthy food.

I was pleasantly surprised that the taste of this tofu and the texture. I’ve used it in soups and stews. It’s a good value for money and I appreciate having the convenience of a prepackaged tofu of this nature. I can’t comment on the shelf life because I’m using it too fast.

I will never buy this brand again. I bought only this brand of silken tofu for many years. I stopped buying it because I got a case just like this one. It has a slightly beany slightly sour flavor and aftertaste. I had to add more sweetener and flavorings to my pudding to cover up the bad taste. I also wouldn't buy from this seller again. The product is too short-dated. I have just over 6 weeks to eat 12 boxes of tofu that I can only use for savory things. I guess the good news is that because of shrinkflation I don't have as much tofu to eat.

Schon zum dritten Mal gekauft, da .eine Frau immer leckere vegane Desserts draus macht. Sehr ergiebig und deshalb recht preiswert. Sehr zu empfehlen
