I ordered this replacement lock because the ad said it worked in most situations and it did. In fact, it slipped in perfectly. Everything lined up and it took about 10 minutes to finish the job. I did need a second set of hands to hold the outer part in while I set the screws in place. The lock is well made and very sturdy. There weren't any instructions in the box, but none were needed. Extremely pleased with this purchase. All four keys work in either lock.

Very easy to install! The quality feels great, the lock is very fitting and I had no issues with fitting. The lock is very easy to lock and unlock, without causing any worry for safety! It functions great and is easy to unlock from the outside at well! Keys work great. Not too thick or any issues with sizing. I seen some people saying that they were getting locked inside and outside of their RV, but my lock has been working perfectly and as long as you’re not trying to fit it when it doesn’t fit, you should not have any issues with locking and unlocking.

Fairly easy to install. Seems to be high quality. Better than OEM type lock. Easy latching and smooth operation. Only problem was could not get on web site to activate warranty. Kept getting kicked out. Will have to call company.

We went with the Model 2.0 design since it's a more stylish. Happy to report that it was able to replace the standard factory 1.0 design latch in a '21 Montana 5t wheel. The hole was actually 2 3/4" wide x 3 9/16" tall which is shorter than what's stated as required but we went with the statement that the Model 2.0 would replace a Model 1.0 style latch. The actual dimensions of the inner frame of the latch are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 so the height was not as critical in our case. However, you need a 2 3/4' wide hole bc the latch installs at a slight angle and has to be turned about 15 degrees to fully seat. Even then it was a little tight but was able to pull the door frame outwards about 1/8" to install and then the strike plate screws brought the door frame back to normal. Didn't have any problems with the screws as other reviewers mentioned. The latch is stout, all metal and works/looks great. Easy to install. 4 stars bc all the keys needed some jiggling to insert and seemed rough. Applied a PTFE dry lube for locks on both sides of one key and inserted the key into both locks and cycled them. Repeated a 2nd time and now the keys insert and turn like a house key. 5 stars if the lock came this way. Best of all, you can get away from the factory key that many people have or can easily obtain. You don't need the electric combo lock and all its complexity to get a decent lock. And let's face it, trailer locks and doors are flimsy and a crow bar can get past the latch and door if someone is determined to break-in.

These were sooo easy to install and such an upgrade from the Global Link locks that came factory on our Intech Luna. They’re significantly sturdier and the keys are thicker/don’t feel like they will snap. Also like they they’re marked “lock and unlock” so it’s clear from the outside. Bonus is that with the 2 lock pack we got 8 keys total. I can’t imagine ever needing that many, but I won’t ever have to get a copy made.

This lock is great! Orginally bought it because it came with 4 keys and was the same price as ordering a couple more keys for my trailer. Installed in less than 10 mins. It feels strong and operates much nicer than the original door latch. Very pleased. Great Product

Our Nov 2020 Outback locked us out one morning as we were preparing to move to our next project. I simply could not unlock the deadbolt and I had to drill the tumbler out. It was such a nice surprise to receive this 4 days before the earliest promised delivery date. The lockset installed very easily, and is definitely nicer quality. Appearance-wise it looks pretty much the same, but not only does the door shut with less force, it no longer pops open against the locked deadbolt when you pull on the latch to test the door after locking the top lock. This was an issue on both of our RV's (2018 Starcraft and 2020 Keystone Outback.) Very pleased and very happy with this vendor. I've never received a delivery from a US vendor to Canada this fast! My only concern is the key codes appear right on the exterior lock panel. This needs to be changed. RV thefts are up very significantly, and as the 'real' economy continues to be threatened thieves will find a way to get keys cut. Easily visible key codes are an invitation.
