This bag is insulated and will keep your food warm/cold for a brief time. It really depends on the environment that the bag is in, and how hot or cold the item is when you put it in the bag. If you are wanting to keep it cold for an extended time, we suggest you put an ice pack inside.

YES!!! I bought this for my son in Kindergarten - he is now in 6TH GRADE and is still using it every day of the school year! It's seen better days, but it has no tears or rips and all of the zippers and strap parts are perfect. It's been through the washing machine at least 50 times and it's still going strong. Love this!!
