30-45 mins. Not extremely hard but not the easiest I have ever done. Well worth the time spent with the enjoyment my daughters and their friends get.

do the wheels really work? can it be wheeled around?

Yes, they do work. It can be moved around easily by lifting up on one and and wheeling to a different location. I do it all the time for my grandson.
