SHIMANO Sora Crankset - Compact

I originally had a Shimano Ultegra 6700 crank and I wanted to switch to a compact crank. I saw this crank and I wasn't sure if the crank would be durable enough because of the price. But this crank is really great! The crank looks great and the black looks really nice. If you're looking for a compact crank that performs well and isn't too pricey, then this is the product for you. This crank was really easy to install because I already had a Shimano hollotech ii bottom bracket. All I needed was an allen key, grease, and this crank removal tool(TL-FC16) that Niagara also sells for less than $5. If you don't have a hollowtech ii bottom bracket you can get one from Niagara, but make sure you get the tools for that if you need it. Niagara literally has everything you need and they ship very quickly! I will be buying from them again.

Great crankset for the money and awesome for someone somewhat new to biking! Can't beat the durability on this thing paired with a decent exterior bb this crank can stand up to some serious abuse! I'm a fairly heavy rider at about 190 and an additional 20lbs of crap I usually tote around. I had a 175 crank on my commuter before this and I swapped it out cause my legs were going too far down and too high up. Made it easier to fine tune my seat height too. Money well spent indeed!!

Great Hollowtech II crank at an even better price. Performs just as good as higher end cranks but for nine speed bikes.

Using this on a cross bike, I also have shimano's cross specific crankset too and I can't tell a huge difference in the two, great value and great performance!

My 2016 trek 1.2 can with some FDA square taper crank garbage. Flexed horribly. I use Shimano cranks on my mountain bikes and couldn't afford a nicer one. But I have no regrets though, crank is still smooth and stiff. Everything I expect from Shimano. Don't feel the need to pay more. Unless you care about nothing but weight, you can't beat this crankset.

I bought this to replace a completely worn out OEM FSA crankset on a Bianchi Via Nirone 7 Sora bike. Fits great, works awesome. No complaints.

I converted my triple to this double and am amazed how much easier shifts are, both up and down. It is also lighter. The price was simple amazing. I'm very happy with this new crankset.
