Ah, that tricky part. you need to first remove the paper sticker which is of the same color as the cap and then you can twist the pump to open it up. Wish they had made that sticker of different color to avoid this frustration.

Is this product compatible to Pureology?

It is not at all similar to Pureology to me. It's decent shampoo & conditioner, though. I bought both from Costco for under $20.
