Not a bad drill necessarily but I had the same version of this hammer drill from 15 years ago and this one really seems to lack power compared to the older one but this one is much more compact

great drill I was replacing an older model that was almost the same but only a drill driver - this has also a hammer drill setting along with a different clutch and lock settings which is GREAT! to me it much better than a similar Milwaukee that I have as the clutch much more sensitive in the low settings to avoid screw strip out when tightening. Quick delivery and might have been a returned item as box was taped shut but definitely never used and in perfect condition. Would not hesitate to order from this provider again.

Good drill drivers
I currently have 13 drill drivers in service in my shop and garage, and 4 of them are these Makita's, or the previous model. So that probably tells you something about whether I like them. They charge quickly and provide reasonable torque. They fit well in my hand. I'm not a big guy, about 5'8", and these are perfect. Observations: I dropped one of these drill drivers off a 5' ladder and it was dead -- the light came on but not the drill. I took it apart far enough to know there is no way to access the innards for diagnosis. I also have another on which the chuck loosens as you drill, which is weird and annoying. Overall though, these Makita's have provided, in some cases, decades of service and I think they are worth a look.

Better buy one in other place. this are refurbished.
I've had Makita drills my whole life; the second-to-last one lasted me over 8 years. This one I bought a year and a few months ago was already smoking and smelling burnt after 6 months. I honestly think they're refurbished.
