I bought a set of these several months ago and was very happy with the purchase. They do not damage my hair at all and they were a perfect size for the thickness of my hair (which is on the thin-ish side...). I bought a second set to keep at the office, only these three are huge - I can wrap them around my hair 3 times, but then they're a bit too tight and bulky. Don't be put off if they're a bit stiff (like taffeta) when they first arrive. They soften and become beautifully soft and satiny when you've used them for a couple of weeks.

You get what you pay for.The silk is not smooth.Functions well as a scrunchie.

I purchased these silk scrunchies from Zimasilk on a whim as I've been using my plain black silk scrunchies from another brand for a long time, and wanted something fresh. I liked the colors of this pack (white, taupe, light blue, peacock, light pink) and saw that it was a good value.I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality when I received them. No loose threads, no funky sewing, these all look like they were properly sewn. I wouldn't be surprised if they retailed for $10 each. All the colors are beautiful, and I actually ordered the headband in Light Blue and Taupe. Personally I don't see myself wearing the white, but it would make a nice gift for someone else.I like the quality of silk Zimasilk uses for the hair accessories. It is a heavier weight charmeuse than many other brands use, but it isn't super densely woven. The fabric almost has a soft, spongy quality to it that I really enjoy. Satins that are really densely woven can give the impression of a stiff 90s prom dress, while looser weaves give that soft, drapey look that makes silk so appealing.The elastic used is also a nice balance between firm and stretchy. I have super thick hair (diameter over 1" in a ponytail), and I can wrap this around my pony about three times. It's not tight, but I don't want it to be, since I just want these to loosely hold my hair out of the way without putting any strain on my scalp. I don't find these to be too firm or flimsy, but are just right for comfort.I love the quality of Zimasilk and I love the colors. Definitely some of my favorite silk scrunchies!

I have thin, curly hair with layers. My overall hair length is just above my bra strap where it hooks across my back and my shortest layer is slightly below my chin.These hair holders are incredible. They’re worth every penny. They don’t damage your hair. Very rarely do I have a hair falling out when I take it out.I’ve had these for over a year now and use them for a variety of reasons. Each night I put my hair up in that pineapple clump to prevent damage while I sleep. I use them regularly during the week to pull my hair back in a ponytail when I’m trying to stretch my wash days. I also use them to tie my hair back for sweat-inducing activities like cycling, working out at the gym and even house cleaning. Even when my head gets sweaty, these things firmly and gently hold my hair in place.They haven’t stretched out, though I do rotate them so that I’m not using the same one each time. Finally, I’ve washed these by hand using Dr. Bronner’s soap and let them air dry. This has worked very well to preserve their softness and durability.

I love these hair scrunchies. I purchased the black set of 3 sizes. My hair immediately looked and felt healthier. My hair is chemically processed and damaged. I bought these silk hair ties hoping they would be less damaging to my already damaged hair. When I put my hair into a top bun at night it left beautiful waves the next day. Unfortunately I lost my favorite size which was the middle size and they do not offer that size individually or as a set. I bought a sub par one from another company and the silk was not as soft, nor did it leave my hair looking healthy. Quality really does make a huge difference. Zimasilk just uses better silk.
