Why does it say it contains red chili peppers while others say it uses black pepper? Which is it?

I’ve had this blend for a long time. Same brand, different packaging. Mine is certified organic. It doesn’t have the ingredients listed. However it’s the blend I like best. You can make your own however too costly. Most recipes use peppercorns, not Chile peppers. This spice blend is closer to the India & Mediterranean style of flavorings. I hope this helps. Why does the package picture show cinnamon, when it's not listed on the package as an ingredient? Are some ingredients missing from the list?

All the ingredients (14) spices. It’s listed on the order page Garam masala, a staple of North Indian cooking, is made with just 14 whole spices. Spices are toasted whole, freshly ground, then hand-blended. This is the blend for Indian curries, tikka masalas and dals. Made from toasted coriander, toasted cumin, black peppercorns, cinnamon, fennel, fenugreek, green cardamom, bay leaves, black cardamom, black cumin, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, star anise.

Does anyone know what spices are used in this garam masala? They don't list it on their ingredients. It just says "garam masala" which is a blend.

Funny - even the packaging on the Garam Masala I received does not list which spices are used. But there is a website listed, www.jivaorganicfoods.com that you can check out to see if the ingredients are listed.

Is this powder or is it whole?

This is a fantastic blend of several grains & spices!  All organic! The spices are already ground into powder.  When I ordered this I thought I’d just get about 2-3 oz dry weight,
Actually I received 7.33 oz (200 gms) dry weight!  Mostly I use in Mediterranean/Indian recipes!
