The Cruel Prince was an enjoyable read, but it left me a bit underwhelmed. With all the hype it gets on Bookstagram, I had incredibly high expectations. Don’t get me wrong the world-building, backstory, and strong main characters were impressive, but I felt like something was missing. I was hoping for more romance between Jude and Cardan, though I’m optimistic that the next two books will deliver on that front. What stood out to me the most was the plot twist at the end I didn’t see that coming at all! Overall, I did enjoy the book. Jude’s character was fierce and compelling, and while Cardan was as broody and cruel as expected, I couldn’t help but love his character too. On the other hand, I absolutely hated Cardan’s friends and felt really bad for Vivienne. As the story progressed, I found myself despising Taryn and Locke more and more. Oak, however, completely stole my heart with his mischievous charm. I’m diving into The Wicked King next, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will make me fall in love with the series and finally understand all the hype.

Love you amazon. Got this today and really they outdone themselves. I always get some minor book damages but it came in pristine condition with proper film wrap. I am gonna read it now

When I usually order books online, the only thing that constantly worries me is " will I get the original copy?" "What if I received pirated?" But all these questions won't even pop up when I buy them from seller cocoblu. They have not even once disappointed me. My heart was pulled in different directions for multiple reasons!!!! I'm not sure how to feel about all the betrayal I just read. My mind was screaming with joy during certain parts, but then screaming no no no no no no no no no no at other parts.

I read the series in three days. I was a bit apprehensive because it started with elves. Yeah. I know it's a book about elves. I couldn't get past the ears and put the book down. My daughter, who was the one who wanted me to read the series, kept pestering me until I picked up the book again and got past the elf ears. I'm glad I did. Awesome world building. Lots of action. And my romance-loving heart was happy at the end of the series.

O box é meio molinho, mas tem um bom espaçamento dentro. Os livros são muito bonitos, do mesmo jeito das fotos que tem em outras avaliações por aqui. A jacket/sobrecapa é boa. Não tem nenhum dos textos extras (o conto da Taryn, o final estendido, cartas do Cardan e os POVs do Madoc) e a leitura em inglês é bem tranquila.

There are not enough words for how truly perfect and gorgeous this trilogy is. Utterly and completely perfect. Ageless, amazing, exactly what it needed to be, heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measures. A story that will live with me for ever.
