We first used ours when our child was one and it fit comfortably, was wearing 2T at the time

Total length is about 35 inches.

Is there a weight chart on what size the child has to be for it to fit? I know it’s adjustable, but my son is tiny. What does the front look like?

No sure of the size chart. Our child is approx 35lbs and we had it not quite on the tightest side. The front is just one buckle. Goes across the chest just like a car seat, seatbelt goes across the chest area. Seemed pretty comfortable to wear. Not high on the armpit area. Tightness is easily adjustable for thickness of clothes as well.
