Reliable Quality: Long-Term Review of Fecida Grow Lights
I own about a dozen Fecida grow lights, including six of this specific model—some purchased years ago, others recently. All of them are still operating with no issues. Overall, these are quality lights with several notable strengths: -Excellent color consistency (older units match new ones perfectly) -Reasonably quiet operation -Fan speed that adjusts with brightness levels -Cool operating temperature, especially at lower brightness settings -Convenient daisy-chain capability -Good-quality hanging hardware My only significant complaint is their riveted construction, which prevents easy access for repairing or replacing the fan or LED driver. While this design choice does prevent inexperienced users from exposing themselves to dangerous 120V line voltage AC, it's disappointing to see a product designed for disposability rather than repairability. As a minor note, I've observed some leaf burning at higher brightness settings. I can't definitively attribute this to the lights versus my own cultivation practices though, so take that for what it's worth. These lights are priced a bit higher than some alternatives, but the superior quality-particularly the "smart" fan control and relatively lower noise level of the 120mm fans they use-justifies the cost. As long as Fecida maintains these standards, I'll continue purchasing their products. Recommended.

Love these FECIDA 1000 W LED lgihts. I purchased six of them at four separate times. Very happy.
These FECIDA 1000 watt LED lights are everything I could ask for, and more. Well done. I highly recommend them. They are well made, sturdy, durable, extremely bright and they cover all the important parts of the light spectrum. I have a 300 sq foot (serious) 'hobby' greenhouse, with both 120 V and 240 V electricity. Plus natural gas and electric heating and full lighting. I love tomatoes and grow all kinds in my greenhouse, as well as some other plants. I augment the lighting in the winter (to 16 hours a day of BRIGHT LIGHT), because we get mostly severely cloudy days, and there just isn't enough natural light. Since I am relatively obsessive about this, I have literally spent days and DAYS looking at different lights for my plants. One of the lights I settled upon was these, and I haven't been disappointed. I compared these to almost everything else that is on the hobby market and these are some of the best. These are very bright in the daylight spectrum, but they have extra emphasis on those farther ends of the spectrum that plants need, so they are actually extremely bright to the plants. These are not my only lights, but they give a great bang for the buck. My tomatoes love them and grow a deep, vibrant green under these lights, and they also flower and produce fruit very well. They have a built in fan, but are fairly quiet, and they don't produce a lot of heat, they are certainly much quieter and less heat than some other, more expensive brands. So, when you look at it all together, these really are great lights and will get the job done for an excellent price. Don't hesitate to buy them. You could certainly do a lot worse.

Good light, not compatible in my home wiring
The lights are high quality and the adjustable output is great. These are nice grow lights, but our new home with GFCI / arc fault breakers were not compatible. What I assume is back feeding to our electric panel or "noise" caused random breakers around the house to trip. Once I unplugged it I have not had any other issues. Too bad really, it is probably the nicest grow light I have ever purchased but wasn't usable for my homes electrical system. If you have the older style breakers you may not have this issue. If you have the breakers with the white/purple/grey buttons on them in new homes, you might have this issue. If you get this and breakers start tripping, well, its probably the same issue I had.

A whole new level of lighting
If you are really serious about growing plants, in my case Desert Rose seedlings then you'll want this light. Besides being well made easy to install (Includes all the harnesses to hang) It's a very robust bright light. I was amazed how quickly my seedling straighten up and are producing their 2nd set of leaves in less than 3 days! Remarkable! It's my understanding this light gives off all the UV/IR wavelength necessary for growth. Well, I see it and believe it. I've been growing for years and I never seen my plants react so quickly to a light such as this. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Best light for the price out there right now
Bought several different led lights to test out different styles. This is the best. The fan is critcal in keeping the board cool. An led light without a fan gets very hot. Unit only one to stay cool. Great light output for 120 watts. Dimmer works great and is a useful feature. Daisy chaining nice. Easy to hang with included hooks and pulley. No plants to test under it now but ill update in a few weeks. So far very happy with this unit. Am buying another, and then their larger size eventually. I can feel the light coming off these lights like i could a HPS. They do make heat like all lights, but the light stays cool unlike other budget led units. For perspective my walk in closet goes from 76 degrees F to 80-83 degrees with this light and a box fan running. Great starter unit, happy, was worried it would be junk for the price. Puts out light equal to 100watt T5 did for me or 200+ watt cfl. will be returning the other led lights i got for more of these. Edit: couple months later, i now own 2 120watt and 3 250watt from fecida. Love them!

Great Light Great Company & Anna in customer service ROCKS!!!!
Update 3/5/23 see below!!! Don't be afraid to purchase this light. It has a lot of bang for its buck. I have run two complete grows in my 4x4 tent using two cr600's 1000w on one side and one mars hydro tsw2000 on the other side. I have had great success with this set up. I could not see a difference in growth from side to side. I did noticed that the tsw2000 runs about 20deg. hotter than cr600. For my next grow I am going too run FECiDA CR600's all the way from start to finish. Her are some photos of my last couple of grows. I will update with my new grow using four cr600's in my 4x4. P.S. I like to Top and LST the heck out of my plants ( keeps them short and sweet bonzai baby) !!!! UPDATE: O.K. sorry folks but some how I lost the photos from my last grow. What I would like to say is that once again the Fecida lights did fantastic. As a mater a fact I haven't had to start another grow until a few weeks ago ( do to great yield on my last grow ) So here we go again I am trying something new again this time. Three plants four Fecida lights with a scrog set at 9" from the base of the plant. The new photos were taken at seven weeks. I am getting ready to send these ladies into flower. Thinking of adding two more lights. What do you all think?

Great for light loving plants cacti/citrus trees
Excellent light with good heat management. Keeps my buttons and san pedros very happy. Can easily burn plants at full power. Also kept a key lime tree happy, with tight internodes and good leaf size. Comes with a good hanging kit. If you can't figure out a way to hang it with what they provide, you might need to ask someone else for assistance.

Extremely bright, long-lasting, high efficiency
Warning: these are EXTREMELY bright lights. You can't look at them when they're on more than 50%, not even as an accidental side glance, without a very distracting afterimage for a few minutes. I've never had a light this bright. I really love the diode density, and these lights have more UV and IR diodes than I've seen on any other grow light. Honestly my only issue is that I sorta wish they were made like this in a bar form - the light is super intense but doesn't cover much area. I have a tropical jungle in my basement with dragonfruit, figs, mangoes, citrus, Annonas, and many species that are so obscure they're only known by the scientific name, so light is a major consideration for me. Because most of my plants are tree or bush form, though, and because I have so many (I hung up an old door as a plant table and it's entirely covered with all my smaller specimens), I have to supplement these powerhouses with Barrina lights to get the proper spread without breaking the bank. I have a Fedica light at the center of each growing area (hanging table, atemoya tree, dragonfruit, suhosine table, and upstairs with my banana tree) and several Barrinas spaced around to try to cover everything, but if the Fecidas came in a form that covered more area (not talking the larger units that just vastly increase the light density with just a little addition to the area covered) I would probably toss my Barrinas in the closet forevermore. Also note, I've been using the Fecida lights for at least two years now, year-round, 16 hours per day, and not one has shown any sign of failure. Definitely quality units, and I have yet to find anything with a better wattage efficiency.

Sehr gutes Lichtspektrum

Good value for money
I'm satisfied so far, so lets put a review. I think for this money, this is a very decent product. However, there are limitations, but thats proportional to the price tag. Good: -Nice linear scaling of the brightness -Seems to hold up claim of 12000 lumen. Slighty over even to my calculations and phone-lux-meter. -Has a good power factor of 0.93 at full power, at which it draws 132.5W. At lower levels the power factor gets slightly worse. 0.90 at 80% down to a power factor of 0.65 at ~15% and 16W of power. Very acceptable. -Construction is rigid and reasonable thought out. It's light, (as in, doesn't way much) and i like that. It comes with some tools to help you mount it easily. It uses a standard power cable. -It has a pleasant color of light, that stays about the same on all brightness levels. This may not be the most efficient color for crops, but is pleasant if you'd use for decorative purposes, garden, if you work in the area etc. -It appears to be flicker free. I can't notice any. Very good. -It does not get warm at all. It came shipped packaged properly in a factory box with some foam protection. Good. Arrived in perfect condition. Neutral: It comes with near-IR and UV lights. I assume the UV is UV-A (harmless) and low intensity. Hence, it's advertised as full spectrum. While i don't mind, i also don't think they are very useful. Maybe for some cacti or other exotic species. However that makes this less suitable as shop light. Otherwise, it'd be perfect for a shop light as well, as i like the nice warm yet bright color. It's perfect above the workbench, and the brightness is controllable. Not so good: - It claims to be IP44. I highly doubt that. While it may (or may not) be electrically safe, IP44 specifies use as outdoor and be splash resistant. I don't think this is suitable for outdoor unless if you live in a dry climate and have the lamp under a shelter. It might be moderately moisture proof, but. I do not see any visible form of formal coating on the LED PCB (there might be some thin layer), and there's a huge fan on top that's all in the open and surely could not handle prolonged rain. As for electrically, i cannot really verify that because - The unit is not serviceable. The encasing is closed with rivets. To open it, you'd need to drill those rivets and replace by some screws, which i did not do. I can only assume the insides, which would be a potted LED driver, but i cannot comment on the construction and have to assume it's safe. The unit is properly earthed, so safety is in your own hands. - The fan adjusts speed to power level fine, it spins almost a bit faster than strictly needed but that's or, it's reasonable quiet BUT it's not an ultra silent. And since the unit is not serviceable, can't easily change that. It's a totally acceptable noise level but you will hear it in a quiet environment. -Longevity - Can't judge that. They claim 50,000 hours and that sounds reasoable, as the unit does not get noticeable warm. However, as with any LED light, for maximum efficiency you'll likely want to replace it sooner than that. Will also depend on what % you run your light. Overall, i'm very pleased and i'll likely get a second one for my bananas. Dutch winters are harsh on them. Good product. Happy customer.
