JIZHI 17 Inch Reborn Baby Dolls Girl, Full Vinyl Closed-Eye Newborn

Bought this for my special needs daughter who loves babies and dolls. She wanted this reborn doll bad enough that I was able to bribe her with it in return for good behavior for a whole month! Yes I negotiated a month given this was a pricey purchase. She absolutely loves this doll. Lifelike and fits in preemie clothes that I get from the sale racks or thrift stores. She likes to change her baby's outfits often and doll clothes are pricey so this works out great. The quality of the doll is excellent. We got the one with no real hair which is best for her since she can put headbands on the doll. We buy real baby diapers size 2 fit best from the dollar store so she can change her baby. She tends to tear the diapers and ruin the clothes which is why I turn to less expensive options as I have to replace clothes and diapers often. She has a doctor kit too which she uses on her baby. This is an excellent exercise for my daughters development. She is developing motor skils, empathy, care and responsibility. Taking care of her baby makes her happy and occupies her so the money spent on this doll is well worth it!

You can’t beat this realistic doll for this price. My daughter loves it. Very beautiful and realistic, has nice weight to it.

My daughter-in-law is getting ready to have a new baby, I purchased this doll for my granddaughter, which would be the older sibling, hoping that it would be some thing where she could treat it like a new real baby as mommy brings home the new one this doll is spot on. It’s too cute. It looks like a baby it wears newborn size clothes. It wears newborn diapers. And my little grandbaby loves her doll realistic. In every way. Possible great deal for the money.

This time I didn't read the review so I thought it was silicone it says silicone but I ordered it and then I was so disappointed because it was not even silicone. But after all it really is disappointing when you don't get something what you want. After all she is cute but if you read the review and it says that it is silicone don't listen to it it is not.

This was another one of my daughters favorite gifts and most played with. She is 6 and absolutely loves it. Its not too heavy or too big. The quality is great and there was no smell. The color and details are amazing. I believe it is perfect for her age range. She told me several times, it was the best gift ever.

We bought this baby doll as a Christmas gift for our youngest granddaughter who is one year old. As a grandmother, I immediately fell in love with the online pictures of this doll; it had such a sweet expression and looked so real! (It actually looked a lot like our granddaughter did as a newborn baby.) I couldn’t wait to give it to her as a gift! The doll arrived very quickly and was packaged in a nice, sturdy box with all of the accessories included (bottle, rattle, pacifier, headband, and baby toy). I was super excited to get it out of the box and look at it. However, when I removed the doll from the plastic bag that it was in, I was surprised by how stiff and hard it was. I thought it was supposed to feel similar to a real baby. Then I removed its little hat, and was totally shocked by the shape of its head; it was very “caved in” at the temples - much worse than the normal curves of a baby’s head. I REALLY wanted to love this doll and to give it to our granddaughter, but I just couldn’t get past the weird shape of its head. I tried to hide it with the baby hat and with the headband, but there was no getting past it. I finally showed it to my daughter (the mother of the granddaughter for whom I bought the doll) and asked what she thought. She agreed that it’s head was too strange looking, and added that it’s body was made of such hard material that it didn’t feel like a real baby at all. I also showed the baby doll to two of our older granddaughters (age 9 and 13), hoping that they might like it and want to keep it. The first thing they said was, “What’s wrong with its head? It looks weird!” Needless to say, I initiated a return/refund through Amazon. They sent everything that I needed electronically to return the doll, and I dropped it off at the local UPS Store, which was a super easy process.

While this doll is cute, it really doesn't look anything like the picture.
