Black Hammer 8844 Men's S3 SRC Metal-Free Composite Boots

These boots for me are great, I normally purchase better known brands but I thought I would give these a try and I really am surprised as to how supportive and also comfortable they are, of course with any boot you have to break them in to your feet, but once broken in they are really very good. I was looking for a slightly higher heel and firm support around the ankle as I broke my ankle a few years back and my physio said to get new work boots as my old ones were not supporting my ankle anymore. with this in mind, I started looking to get a supportive pair of boots, these popped up on Amazon and drew my attention because of the high voltage resistance aspect of them as I work on electric commercial vehicles. Honestly, I cannot fault these boots, they have surpassed my expectations in every way and I am very happy with my purchase, oh and if your an engineer and do lots walking about you will be also glad to know that they are nice and light pair of boots. Hopefully these will last a decent length of time, time will tell. UPDATE One of the top plastic eyelets at the top of the boot broke off, now as I said before, I need to support the ankle that broke, so I do that up very tight. However by just punching a hole through the leather It was perfectly functional again and is still supportive to my ankle. I still think these are great, just maybe re think the eyelets if you want them super tight.

Better than steel toe capped boots for foot health. Wear with high quality bamboo socks to get maximum benefit. Superb price and comfort. Wish I had known about Kevlar safety boots sooner. S3 rated too.

This is my third pair of these boots, they last me about a year at a time, very comfortable for me, I have wide feet and don’t have any issues with them. A great pair of boots

Working in a warehouse we needed non metallic safety shoes so i just went and bought a pair. They were really bad and after i dropped a soundbar on my boots the toe protector broke, i could feel small bits of plastic inside. Then i bought this as my second pair during winter and thought I'd buy another in summer. That was in 2021. They're great in all weather and don't get hot or cold, protection is great as i had all kinds of heavy stuff dropped on my feet. They don't look very good after so much time but i did abuse them. Downside is there isn't any heel protection as far as I can tell and not too much of it in the laces area though there's great padding around the ankles which can stop a blind forklift operator from hurting you. They are padded with textile material inside and will require special thick socks, anything less will rip in a day or 2 but this applies to all work boots probably. The sole is comfortable and i think it lasted for about a year or two before it became sort of flat and i had to buy some soles. Overall I'd recommend them for most kinds of work and honestly you're paying 30 pounds, it's not the best out there but it will do the job very well.

These are the worst work boots I have ever bought. When they arrived I thought wow, they look snazzy, but that was as good as it got. The boots have rubber or rubber like eyelets for the laces which lock when you are trying to pull them tight to tie the laces. Sounds like a minor gripe, but not to me it wasn't, it absolutely did my head in every time I was tying and untying the laces, making it an intensely frustrating experience. Even worse than the laces though are the seams, they have burst open all over the boots and now the sole on the right boot has come away from the upper. I will say that once on the boots were comfortable, but that is as good as it got. I have had Black Hammer boots before and have generally been really happy with them, these however have been an unmitigated disaster. Avoid at all costs.

I have to say i was a bit doubtful when I saw the price of these boots, without a doubt they are the most comfortable work boots I've ever had, firstly no metal at all, very light, also very soft and pliable, usually i take my boots off when I get to the office but these I don't bother and keep on all day, fantastic value and very well made, I will be looking at more black hammer products for sure, well done for finally making a comfortable work boot with protective toes that doesn't cut in to your toes.

Love these boots , brought some a while ago and they were so comfy to wear" needed a new pair so see these in a sale at £ 19 odd rather than £ 38 odd , so brought 2 pairs for the price of one. I think they are great boots myself. Also great for when going through security.

Molto buone per la montagna usato per un anno diciamo che hanno fato il loro lavoro molto resistenti e comode per quello che costano 5/5 ho comprato altri marchi più costosi e dopo una settimana ho dovuto buttarli ma non questi dopo un ano di lavoro in montagna sono ancora in buon stato

Ich trage die Schuhe mittlerweile seit einem Jahr täglich auf der Arbeit. Sie sind extrem leicht und bequem, fühlt sich einfach gut an sie zu tragen. Allerdings muss man beachten dass die Nähte vorne mit der Zeit und öfterem arbeiten auf den knien reißen werden, somit sind sie nichtmehr wasserdicht. Daher langfristig vielleicht eher nicht für die Baustelle geeignet. Würde der Schuh das doppelte kosten wäre das ein Problem, für den Preis aber absolut empfehlenswert.
