Excellent Skincare Product: Divine Alpha Hydroxy Acid Skin Rejuvenation Therapy I’ve recently incorporated the Divine Alpha Hydroxy Acid Skin Rejuvenation Therapy into my skincare routine, and I must say, this product is simply amazing. It contains 40% Glycolic Acid, which is a potent concentration perfect for those looking to rejuvenate their skin and achieve a brighter, more youthful complexion. Here’s why I love this product: 1. Effective Exfoliation: The 40% Glycolic Acid in this solution works wonders for removing dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and more radiant skin underneath. After just a few uses, my skin felt noticeably softer and had a more even tone. 2. Improves Skin Texture: Over time, I noticed that my skin’s texture improved significantly. Fine lines and minor imperfections were visibly reduced, leaving my skin looking healthier and more vibrant. 3. Simple to Use: The application process is straightforward. Just apply a small amount to clean, dry skin, and let it work its magic. I experienced a slight tingling sensation, which is expected with a high concentration of Glycolic Acid, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. 4. Visible Results: After consistent use, I’ve seen a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. My complexion is brighter, my pores are less noticeable, and my skin feels rejuvenated. 5. Great Value: For the quality and results this product delivers, it’s an excellent value. A little goes a long way, so the 30ml bottle lasts a good amount of time.

however, because this is a high quality product you need to be more careful. I can not afford a dermatologist and had heard amazing things about acid peels so after searching through amazon I settled on this one. Received the package is top condition no issues there, but as I read the instructions I realized this is something usually done by professionals. You need a special applicator which I didn’t know and doesn’t come in the package, I also wish I had bought their peel neutralizer specifically for this. If your doing your forehead you probably need some special goggles to keep your eyes safe because the water can drip down as you apply it! Some landed on my lip and I had to immediately neutralize it with cold water because it burned. As the instructions say, this will affect different people and skin types differently. Background info: I’m a 23 year old Latina not super tan but not super light skinned either with semi-sensitive skin, a lot ALOT of acne and acne scars. I read the instructions very carefully and did a test patch as it said while also diluting it in half. After 48 hours with no burns or side effects I decided to do my whole face with only 1/4 dilution. I originally bought this for my acne scars but as mentioned earlier I still have acne, I recommend you get rid of your acne first before using this product because it burns if you still have acne. It sneaks up on you, at first it’s a light tingle, and then it’s almost like a burning sensation, I was very nervous and kept a close eye on my face for redness, after a couple of minutes I neutralized it with cold water as the instructions suggested. I had to do that a few times until I felt comfortable, BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR EYES! Afterwards I still felt a light tingling but nothing worrisome. My results from doing this: my face was lighter, brighter, and evenly colored which I was happily surprised about! It had smoothed out some fine lines that I didn’t even realize I had before! I still have some acne scars that are older and darker that might need a second or third treatment for them but overall I’m very relieved that I did this even as nervous as I was. However, before I proceed onto with my next home treatment I will be watching YouTube videos and researching a bit more on how to properly and safely use this product because it is verrryyy strong. If you’re like how I was and still nervous but really wanting to do this, then I definitely recommend this product from this brand above all others because it’s legit, it’s the real deal. Professional high class quality but at an affordable price that you get to do in the comfort of your own home! So my final answer is yes, buy this one!!

The first time I used this, i was freaked out by warnings not to go past 3 mins. There were absolutely no results. Lame. I had bought an elf brush for $1 and use it to apply this solution exclusively A few days later, I looked deep into these reviews and youtube and saw you can go up to 10 to 12 mins. So i did. With in that week my skin was noticeably brighter, and my age spots on my forehead were faded dramatically. One month later ( in the late summer) it was time to take care of the summer skin damage that may have gathered on my skin (even tho I hide from the sun). It did brighten my skin on my face dramatically, which is nice. However, i'm 35, and do notice the slight aging on my neck skin. I want it to be bright, and tight. I left the solution on for 12 mins and no difference. Also, in leaving my face go for 12 mins, the tip of my nose got a bit burnt, and had started to sting and bleed. That's fine, it heals fast, but that was unnerving. I don't know if you need to leave this solution on longer for other areas of the body, but trying to lighten my hands and legs from darker patches did absolutely nothing. hence the 4 of 5 stars. All in all it does make a difference, and it way more affordable than going to get a chemical peel for hundreds at the spa.

As a woman in my late forties battling with dark spots and hyperpigmentation, finding the right skincare product feels like an ongoing quest. After much research and hesitation, I decided to give the Glycolic Acid Peel 40% a shot, hoping it would finally offer relief from these persistent skin issues. Firstly, let me emphasize the importance of following the instructions meticulously. This is a potent chemical peel and must be approached with caution. I made sure to patch test and gradually build up tolerance before diving into the full application. I have to admit, the results have been impressive. After just a few uses, I noticed a significant improvement in the appearance of my dark spots. They've noticeably faded, giving my complexion a more even tone. The hyperpigmentation that once plagued my confidence has become less prominent, allowing me to feel more comfortable in my own skin. One of the aspects I appreciate most about this peel is its multitasking abilities. Not only has it helped with my dark spots and hyperpigmentation, but it has also minimized the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. It's like hitting multiple birds with one stone, which is invaluable for someone like me who's juggling various skincare concerns. However, it's essential to mention that this peel isn't a miracle worker overnight. Consistency is key, and it took a few weeks of regular use to see noticeable results. Additionally, it's crucial to pair it with a good sunscreen and hydrating skincare routine to protect and nourish the newly revealed skin. In terms of the application process, I found it relatively straightforward. I experienced a mild tingling sensation upon application, which subsided quickly. I opted for leaving it on for the recommended time before neutralizing and rinsing thoroughly. Post-peel, there was some redness and peeling, but nothing out of the ordinary for a chemical peel of this strength. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Glycolic Acid Peel 40%. It has become a staple in my skincare routine, offering me the results I've been desperately seeking for years. If you're like me, battling with dark spots and hyperpigmentation, I highly recommend giving this peel a try. Just remember, patience and consistency are key to unlocking its full potential.

I actually just did my first peel tonight (well, of this brand/bottle). I used to work in a dermatology clinic and was introduced to the glycolic acid peel and fell in love. When I used to get a peel done in the clinic I would use the 30% and had absolutely no issues, in fact my skin had never been better than when I was doing weekly peels (30% for 30 sec. the first time, then increased it to 1 minute every time after that). I suffer from cystic acne, and I have some scars from it, and I noticed a visible difference after a couple treatments. Well it has been a couple years since I have done a peel and decided it was time to hop back on the train (but couldn’t afford to jump up and go to the dermatologist, especially during these times). I did some research and happened upon Divine glycolic acid in 40% strength (I feel a couple years older deserves a 10% increase, as I am now hoping to soften some minor lines). The directions are very clear and easy to understand, even for someone who is new to chemical peels. I cleansed my face with a mild facial cleanser, rinsed and dried it well, without rubbing my face to keep from irritating my skin. I used to use a large cotton tipped applicator to apply it when I worked in the clinic, but without that at my home I used a cotton makeup remover pad (plain, no makeup remover applied of course) to apply a thin layer to my face, starting at the forehead and applying down to the chin, making sure to get my cheeks and my nose, while staying a safe enough distance from my eyes and my mouth. I started my timer and immediately started to feel that familiar, yet forgotten tingle all over my face. I ended up leaving it on my face for 1 minute, fanning my face to minimize the tingle, then proceeded to rinse it off by splashing my face with cool water, making sure not to rub my face or agitate it. Once all the tingling had subsided I proceeded to pat it dry, making sure not to rub the skin or irritate it (cool water will neutralize glycolic acid on its own, as long as you make sure to rinse it all off, which can take a few minutes of splashing your face and neck with the cool water. If you would like to use the baking soda method it won’t hurt you to, but it is not necessary). I then proceeded to apply my oil free moisturizer with sunscreen (which I will continue to do, as I also need to stay out of direct sunlight up to a week following the peel). I will update my review in a few weeks when I can report on my progress, which I plan on doing a peel once a week, and will most likely increase my peel time next time. But for the moment, I am very happy with it. (I also was able to water it down with the directions it included, so my daughter could use it (blackheads, whiteheads, typical teenager acne issues). She left it on for 30 seconds and it was diluted to approx 20% strength before it was applied to her face. She states it did tingle, but fanning her face did help and once she rinsed it all off it was fine. Will also update with her progress if she decides she wants to continue doing it.
