It comes with a standard battery, and can be upgraded by buying a larger capacity battery that permits for longer duration play. Not for particularly agressive off-road bashing, more for medium level, medium intensity ramp jumps, etc. Great product overall. Great manufacturer and seller. I even ended up buying another of their smaller trucks for a friend's son's birthday.

The only problem is minor and it is that you have to soldier the wires back on because the way they are placed makes them come off easily. This use to be 270 aed but because of the inflation I can see it has skyrocketed the prices for the cars or maybe it is that wltoys have gained trust from people and is recognized as a good brand. Install a bumper because at high speed crashes it may damage compenents this is still too fast for beginners but quite easy to maintain if you know a little bit.

I got it as a gift it's very fast however i didn't get a battery (not from the seller but from who gave me the gift because I own a lot of RC cars this is like a toy I have 100 km x Maxx and Traxxas and their very fast compared to this it's very good however I used a 7000 mah battery so u might not get the same as me
